Alright, friends! Everything started from seed (with the exception of a few viola plants I’m waiting on to bloom for color) is in the dirt!! EEK!!
Now to wait for snapdragons, dahlia, cosmos, sunflowers, zinnia, and gladiolus!
I also transplanted some mint, basil, and a cherry tomato plant today! All in pots tho to keep them close to the house and the mint from taking over!
It’s crazy how anxious I am to loose them to weather or critters and pests. I’ve been tending some of them since February!
Since we’ve only been living here about four years, I’m still learning what’s going to work to keep out the voles, rabbits, deer, and destructive bugs so here’s praying we get some amazing blooms. I can’t wait to share them!!
My babies are in their new home where they will hopefully get all the water and sunshine they need to produce beautiful blooms! Grow, babies, grow!! 💐 #firsttimeflowerfarmer #learningeveryday #whatwillidowithalloftheseflowers
FINALLY had enough energy today to WORK in the garden 🌻 sunflowers will live in the new 4x6 zippered enclosure to protect them from hungry critters! I also moved some winterized garlic to the front border to see if I can deter anything that might want to harm my plant babies! 🌱 I’m excited to finally get them out there, but I’m so nervous they’ll be devoured 😬
I’m back and super excited to add flowers to my content during the blooming season! I can’t wait to show you all that I’ve been working on this Winter!
