About the author: Bev Vincent is the author of The Road to the Dark Tower, The Dark Tower Companion and the Stephen King Illustrated Companion. He has published over 90 short stories, including appearances in Alfred Hitchcock and Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazines, Cemetery Dance, The Blue Religion, Ice Cold and several Shivers anthologies. In 2018, He co-edited the anthology Flight or Fright with Stephen King. His work has been nominated for the Stoker, Edgar, ITW Thriller and Ignotus Awards. I sent my recommendations for the lower end word counts of the SF edition of The Binge-watching cure this weekend, The mid range / longest category recommendations will go over next weekend or the weekend after. If they are approved, the next step will be to reach out to the selected authors to make sure their work is still available. Once that is complete, I'll send the last round of rejections to release the remaining stories.

Our final sub count for the Science Fiction edition of The Binge-Watching Cure was about 926. After the first few rounds of cuts, we are down to about 157 active subs. I'm going to take a break from deliberations to send out some form notifications. It will take me a bit to work through them all. Thank you to every author who submitted!

I'm interested in seeing a bit more: non-humanoid aliens, cyberpunk, cross-genre, weird, etc.

I have a bunch of AI and a bunch of apocalyptic fiction in the queue at the moment.

I'd love to incorporate a wider mix of sub-genres and author voices.

How are you all handling this international ?

Here at Claren, we largely work remotely, so our work is continuing on schedule.

It does feel a bit like a dystopian novel out here in the States at times.

Are you keeping a journal or otherwise recording your life for posterity?

The and I go outside and scream in the yard sometimes... happy things like 'yay' so as not to frighten the neighbors.
