One of these things is not like the other. Why?

A lack of diverse contributors to major tech platforms is honestly such an unnecessary problem, yet it needs solving. Y'all remember that what gets recorded AND HOW IT GETS RECORDED depends greatly upon who is doing the recording. Doing some work with Wikipedia to get this kind of thing rectified, but also BOOOOOOO!

VILLA LEWARO is also known as The Madame C.J. Walker Estate. Walker was among America's first EVER self-made millionaires and she COMMISSIONED New York State’s first licensed Black architect, Vertner Woodson Tandy, TO BUILD this 30-room mansion. It's more than "she made Villa Lewaro her home in X year" or other commonly recorded lines. SHE LITERALLY HAD THIS HOUSE BUILT FOR HER FAMILY A FEW MILES FROM KYKUIT-- THE ROCKEFELLER ESTATE IN 1916.

As more users flee X, a clearer, sunnier social media age may be on the horizon. Charting a path forward is Bluesky, a social media platform that looks and feels a lot like the old Twitter you knew and loved. In the last week, the app added 2.25 million new users.

Bluesky features a reverse chronological feed of posts, and its open source, decentralized framework gives you a lot more control over how your feed works than X or Threads, Meta’s X alternative.
