The Tam News is the monthly publication affiliated with Tamalpais High School, in Mill Valley CA. The Tam News, from one student-editor's perspective, is great to be part of. As a reporter or editor, you learn greater responsibility (we hope) by being part of something larger than yourself. Each month, student-reporters are required to write one to two articles of their choice. Section editors and

the Editors-in-Chief are required to write one piece each cycle. Reporters are encouraged to contribute in other forms as well, such as graphics, art, or media pieces. The Tam News is an open forum, meaning we accept student submissions each publishing cycle. Each story is taken through a three to four week cycle the publishing cycle, where it goes through two to four drafts and then edits over style and layout :)
