New photos and title for the upcoming Apple TV+ series, ”Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.” Releasing in fall 2023.
GKIDS has finally announced the details of their “Evangelion 3.0 + 1.11 Thrice Upon a Time” blu ray. There will be a standard blu ray release and a 4K UHD collectors edition release. The collectors edition is essentially the same as the 4K Japanese release, which is incredible. The releases will also include the shorts EVANGELION:3.0(-46h) and EVANGELION:3.0(-120min). It will be released on Demand on October 3rd, and the physical media will be released on October 17.
Want to get ready for the One Piece live action, but too overwhelmed to start the anime? Well, lucky for you Netflix’s series is only going to be covering the East Blue Saga in season one. If you watch two episodes of One Piece a day starting on August 1st (one day you will have to watch three episodes), then you will finish everything the live action is going to cover (episodes 1-61). There is a filler arc at the end that Netflix’s One Piece will most likely not be covering, but given we don’t know the exact point season one is going to end at, it’s better to be prepared.

Wanting to get ready for the upcoming Shin Kamen Rider on May 31st? We recommend watching all of Kamen Rider 1971, but we understand that it’s a long one and might be an unrealistic goal to watch the series in its entirety before the movie releases. We have not seen Shin Kamen Rider at the time of this post, so this list is not based on references from Shin Kamen Rider. We still recommend going back to the series and watching the rest of the episodes, because there are some pretty good ones in there. So, here are two lists of episodes at different lengths to help with binging the series before the new movie hits theatres.
If you have the time to spare, we compressed 98 episodes into the length of a normal Kamen Rider series at 49 episodes. Watch the following episodes to get a full understanding of the story, vibes and fun of the show:
1-18, 26-27, 31, 39, 40-41, 49-54, 63, 67-68, 72-74, 78-81, 84, 87, 89-94, 97-98
If you just can’t get through 49 episodes in time, have no fear. We then further compressed the series to the shortest possible runtime with a length of 24 episodes. However, we do not recommend watching the show this way unless you simply don’t have time for anymore episodes but still want to experience the story of the original Kamen Rider before seeing Shin Kamen Rider in theatres. Ideally, you should watch all of the first 13 episodes, but if you can’t do that, here are the most important episodes:
1,2,6-11, 13, 14-15, 40-41, 52, 72-73, 79, 80-81, 92-94, 97-98
There are also two short films attached to the series. Kamen Rider Vs. Shocker, which you would watch after episode 41. Then watch Kamen Rider Vs. Ambassador Hell after episode 53. These two are a lot of fun as well. Kamen Rider Vs. Shocker is not available on legal streaming services at the moment (at least to our knowledge). Kamen Rider Vs. Ambassador Hell is available on Toei’s YouTube channel. Kamen Rider 1971 is streaming on Tubi for free.

Not sure when this was revealed, but it’s the first I’m seeing of it. New poster for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Swordsmith Village Arc. We are currently four episodes into the new arc and it’s only getting better. Catch the new episodes weekly on Sundays on Crunchyroll.
We don’t know much, but we do know the release year. Netflix’s Ultraman anime film will be coming in 2024. Still no visuals besides what they first showed us when the project was announced. the plot synopsis is as follows:
“Baseball superstar Ken Sato returns to his home country of Japan to pick up the mantle of Earth-defending superhero Ultraman, but quickly finds more than he bargained for when he’s forced to raise the offspring of his greatest foe, a newborn Kaiju. Struggling to balance the roles of teammate and new father, Ken must confront his own ego, his estranged father, and the conniving Kaiju Defense Force to rise up and discover what it truly means to be Ultraman.”

If you missed Shin Ultraman in theatres then it seems you’ll have to wait an additional month more than previously expected. Evidently the Shin Ultraman blu ray release from Cleopatra Entertainment has been delayed from the initial release date of June 13 to July 11.
