IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING 'THE TROUBLED SLEEP OF PIANO MAGIC' VINYL

This came to our attention very early on but we'd hoped it was an isolated case. The reality is that, for the majority of pledgers, the inner sleeves of 'The Troubled Sleep Of Piano Magic' have been messed up in printing/packing. We brought this to the attention of Bandcamp, who quickly responded. You should, therefore, have received this email from them in the past 24 hours :

"Hi there,

Suzy from Bandcamp here, with an (unfortunate) update regarding The Troubled Sleep of Piano Magic.

It recently came to our attention that copies of this album were incorrectly assembled by the pressing plant. Some fans have reported receiving two copies of the same sleeve, and some others have reported receiving one sleeve with the incorrect printing.

We’re deeply disheartened and disappointed by this mistake. The Troubled Sleep of Piano Magic is a beautiful album, with stunning artwork that needs to be seen in its full assemblage. The good news is that we’ll be sending two fresh sleeves to each and every pledger as soon as possible. We’ll begin that process this week, and we’ll complete the task as soon as our stock is replenished. If you’re receiving this email, you’ll receive the amended sleeves.

Bandcamp"

As we imparted to Bandcamp when we first discovered the mistake, this record has been years in conception. It is the fans' most requested record to commit to vinyl. Martin Andersen spent many months on the fantastic design. We feel we've been deeply let down by the production of this record or more specifically by Bandcamp's chosen sleeve printers/packers. We know who they are but it makes no sense to point fingers here - it won't change the situation.
We can only hope that Bandcamp will stand by their pledge to supply everyone with the correct replacement inner sleeves and we ask that you take up any further issues with them (including delivery). Once again, Piano Magic/Second Language had no part in the album's manufacture beyond the remastering and design. We can only apologise for assuming all would be well. We hope this does not spoil your enjoyment of this record. And hey, let's face it, most of you didn't even notice. ;)

In case you're unaware (or just don't use it), on the first Friday of every month, Bandcamp, waives their fees so that the income from any purchase does directly to the artist/label without commission. Obviously, hundreds of new records are released on Bandcamp Friday to capitalise on this. This one wasn't...but you can still buy it today. ;) It's great. Out today! Future Conditional’s somewhat belated follow-up to their illustrious 2007 debut, ‘We Don’t Just Disappear.’ ‘Isotech,’ the new album by ex-Piano Magicians, Glen Johnson and Cédric Pin, draws inspiration from, amongst others, Kraftwerk, John Foxx, New Order and Colder.
As on their debut, Johnson and Pin are joined once again by Bobby Wratten (formerly of The Field Mice/Trembling Blue Stars/Northern Picture Library and now Lightning In A Twilight Hour). Alongside partner, Beth Arzy (formerly of Aberdeen and Trembling Blue Stars; now of Jetstream Pony and The Luxembourg Signal), Wratten lends his voice to a sublime cover of New Order’s ‘Doubts Even Here’ (from ‘Movement’) and new single, ‘Demolitions.’

Multi-faceted, prolific electronic composer and DJ, Mücha, sings title track, ‘Isotech’ and the persuasive Blade Runner-esque android pitch of, ‘Indexed To Impulse.’ Josh Cowey sings on the opening track, ‘Cold Love’ and the mononymous, mysterious, Lidija, provides cinematic French narration to ‘Two Sugars.’ Glen Johnson sings ‘Dumbstruck’ and ‘Stephen.’

‘Isotech’ is accompanied by three digital-only bonus remixes – ‘Indexed To Impulse’ (Mücha Strobe Like Remix), ‘Stephen (Ghost In The Frame remix)’ by Cédric Pin and ‘Dumbstruck’ (Fur Voice Remix) by Barcelona-based, Fur Voice. Listen/order/info here :
