Friday update revealed two new promo cards. Gon is for completing a demo and the JJK AP is listed as a free giveaway with more details to come. Based on the website wording there should be one more Promo to go with Gon for doing a demo.
✨ NA Gameplay!✨
Ever wonder who would win in a battle between Kurapika and Sukuna? Well that's exactly the type of questions you can answer in UA! The first gameplay video is now up showing an fun match between two very strong decks in the upcoming NA format
All cards will have translations in the video, as well as I did a VO to explain the key turns in the match, so hopefully it will be easier to follow. This is more of a "test" layout for future videos, but wanted to start with more UA content!

✨Huge News!✨
Pre-orders are now available at your LGS but the big news is that *11 CARDS* will be added for the NA version! This is another set that needed some buffs so most likely cards from Vol 2 will be pulled forward to make the set more competitive.

This set will also feature a gold serialized Tanjiro (1-100) which is another NA exclusive to look forward to.
✨ Milan top 16✨
WINS! One short event after my last video where I said RG Eva midrange is an absolute beast of a deck it ended up winning! BSS4.5 Meta continues to evolve and the 9th and 10th place decks were very interesting!
To me BSS 4.5 really signals that BSS is entering its "Specialist Meta" era where we will continue to see such diversity in lists that have the ability to climb into the top cut of events. Only time will tell how much of an impact Astrals will have!

✨ Regional Top 8! ✨
Well after spending a solid month of straight 1-2 or even 0-3 events I got a bit lucky with a meta call and made top 8 of my first ever GA event! A little bit of story time, talking about the meta, and how I feel about Fire Merlin
Probably the most important takeaway from my own experience in the tournament is that for the past month I was trying to force decks that had wide matchup percentage swings and led to a more negative opinion, but with wind you can find a much healthier point in the meta to reflect on

We won the swiss lotto and made top 8 of the Michigan regional. I made the mistake of only having a coffee and a protein bar until after the event so not feeling the best and hopefully returning to content after a day or two to recover 😅
BSS Events happened as well over the weekend and hearing even more great things about Evangelion making an impact on the meta. This may be set 4.5 but looking forward to going to Canada to play in it!
NA version Exclusive foils will also be included as box toppers! This wasn't previously announced on distributor pages so great o see something new added!

This was a massive success in Japan that sold out instantly. Now we're getting the English print version that many have been asking for. I sincerely hope Bushiroad can see the writing on the wall that this game still has a lot of very dedicated fans out there and was truly one of the greatest TCGs of all time

1 week into our GA Journey I've played in 4 different events one of them being a 100+ player we**am event. Silvie made 5/8 of the top spots thanks to the new Re:Collection decks, but will the deck stick around long term?
My total buy in to GA is currently around $1100, with about another $800-1000 to go if I wanted to finish competitive playsets. While waiting for Worlds Beyond to launch I'll continue to talk about my journey/onboarding to GA and if I continue long term

The community put on an amazing event celebrating the end of BSS04 format featuring a lot of awesome spirit focused prizing! On top of that we got to see a MILL DECK (!) make it into the top 8 spot
This also marks the last event as we sit and wait for the Evangelion set, so taking a short break from BSS things while waiting for my case to come in. Maybe its time for some Union Arena to fill in the gaps 🧐

Over the last couple weeks quite a few big pieces of news dropped that I have finally got around to putting all in one video. JJK and HunterxHunter fans are eating GREAT, but what will happen to the bleach set?
English exclusive set changes, storage sets available at anime expo and Gen Con, and a few other changes all covered in this video. These changes are VERY POSITIVE for what it can mean for future sets! I hope Bandai will continue on this trend for NA

Wossy Plays got a World Exclusive reveal that is a collab between OPTCG and PSA. We are watching history being made in real time and as someone who has been very involved in the JP TCG space over the last 10 years this is insane to see. We are about to enter a new era of what "big 3" actually means
The biggest question now is how OPTCG will shape the industry going forward the same way Duel Masters did many years ago. We've already seen one "OPTCG Clone" in the Detective Conan that just launched in Japan, but I'm expecting we will see quite a few more

✨ Top 16 Recap!✨
Did BO1 format have a major impact on what made top cut? Not really! We did get to see a new yellow aggro deck make its way to the top 8 cut, but the same format staples showed once more just how strong and consistent they are!
Aggro, Midrange, Combo, AND control were all represented in the top 16, but control decks certainly suffer the most in the format shift overall. How will this impact the next regional? We will have to wait and see!

I plan to do deck list videos for each IP as starting points that cover all the different lists you can build in each set, but I figured doing a higher level deep dive into the building process can help players build their own unique lists
