Last weekend saw the final match of 15 at Wembley this year, working providing show comms for long term client EVENT360. Matches included the prestigious Carabou and FA Cup finals as well as several England home friendly matches for both the mens and womens football teams.

We supplied our RTS Intercom Systems OMS intercom unit with a mix of Dante native panels and DBP beltpacks. This allowed us to accept audio feeds and have end points located across the stadium with ease via our Netgear AV line switches using the on-site fibre backbone.

For larger matches we also supplied a 20 beltpack stadium wide RIEDEL Communications International Bolero system using the same network and our new Fibre POE boxes, which allow a single core of fibre to be converted to copper with POE for powering RIEDEL Communications International Bolero antennas or RTS Intercom Systems beltpacks.

Big thanks to EVENT360_Sport for bringing us onboard, our RF supplier Creative Technology our logistics partner Hyperdrop and all the freelance engineers who helped us make these events fantastic.

At the weekend we were honoured to be asked by the iconic Royal Albert Hall to provide show talkback solution for this years Olivier Awards. Supplying an RIEDEL Communications International matrix sitting on a backbone of our Netgear AV Line switches, including links to OB provider Timeline Television

Challenges for technical lead Ian Threlfall included providing wireless Bolero coverage all the way from the bottom of the stairs outside the hall right through the building for Tom Francis performance from the nights big awards winner Sunset Boulevard.

We were thrilled to be invited back to London Excel by Flux Broadcast to deliver another Pokemon EUIC. Supplying 170 ports of RTS Intercom Systems and audio networking for all 4 galleries via a backbone of Netgear AV line switches including our new M4350 12X12F core.

From 2023 we increased the sitewide RIEDEL Communications International Bolero count to 60 packs and Glensound Inferno commentary positions up to 12 with a total of 130 Dante audio devices connected across the network with no service interruption.

The technical lead for us was Ian Threlfall. Our on site team was Tom Mann, Sam Mannis, Olly Steel and Chris Moore. We'd like to thank Flux Broadcast for trusting us with the event again and all of our great suppliers in Creative Technology, Autograph and Plus4 Audio.

We were at Wembley this weekend providing show comms for Crouchfest 3, the 3rd annual live extravaganza of the hit That Peter Crouch Podcast. Described by the man himself as "The best trilogy since The Godfather, Jaws, and Jurassic Park". We had a-lot of fun!

We had kit and teams on sporting events in both London and Paris this weekend. RF commentary and RIEDEL Communications International Bolero out in Paris for the World Rowing Under 19 Championships as well as supplying more Bolero and guarantees for Cloudbass OB on the Game4Ukraine at Stamford Bridge.

Thanks to EVENT360, Presteigne Broadcast Hire, Cloudbass as well as engineer Josh Miles and all the team working hard back at base to get equipment ready and in the right place!

We had a lovely day back at Pudding Mill Lane working for Solotech UK Group servicing and upgrading their RIEDEL Communications International matrix system on ABBA Voyage. While there we also looked at ways they can expand the coverage of their site wide Bolero network.

Our co-director Ian Threlfall will be ABTT Theatre Show sitting on the seminar panel "The art and craft of comms" on the 7th June at 13:00 - 13:45 in the Londesborough Room for The Association of Sound Designers along with Clear-Com and Stage Management Association. We'll discuss comms tech, practice and etiquette.

We've just come back from Zagreb where we provided comms, commentary and high powered RF links for our first World Rowing event for Event 360. Using Wisycom Inc RF we had 2 commentator cars connected back over the full 2km course with return IFB from the finish tower.

At the finish tower was one of our Glensound commentator units and a RIEDEL Communications International Bolero comms system tying it all together. All looked after by our engineer Tom Mann. Thanks to EVENT360 for bringing us onboard for the season, and technical supporter Presteigne Broadcast Hire.

Last week we were working for Flux Broadcast on Pokemon EIC. Supplying intercom and audio networking to 3 game stages & galleries for over 30 hours of live TX. Including Dante/AES67 network nodes with 96 ports of intercom including site wide wireless and 6 commentary positions.

The backbone of the Dante/AES67 network was made of Netgear AV line switches, with multiple VLANs setup with redundant fibre LAGs in a latency low topology to over 100 endpoints. POE power allowed for simple connections and battery backup for uninterrupted operation.

Dual RTS Intercom Systems Odins were the heart of the comms system with 35 RIEDEL Communications International Bolero packs. The Omneo connectivity allowed for easy networked interfacing to 6 Glensound Inferno commentary units for games casters and PGM and presenter IFB feeds to and from Yamaha Pro Audio Europe consoles.

Player and judges could talk together with RTS Intercom Systems DBP packs. Judges were able to talk to the director and we returned game audio to players. While DirectOut Dante MADI devices allowed for embedding of TX and de-embedding of game audio and VTs from video routers.

The project was technically led by our own Ian Threlfall alongside trusted freelancer Sam Mannis. We'd like to thank Flux Broadcast for bringing us onboard for the event as well all of our great supporters on this project Creative Technology UK, Autograph and Plus4 Audio.
