Over the last few weeks, we've raised just over $1750 for The Redwood, trading homemade masks for donations to the shelter. What do you want to do today?

The Little Paper was conceived in a playground and born on a snowy December day in 2003. I went looking for a resource for events and activities for urban parents and, when I couldn’t find one, I just made my own. And then I shared it.

The Little Paper has grown and evolved a lot over 14 years but it has never lost sight of its one big goal – helping city moms and dads find out what to do today.

Every day, we add new events, resources, guides and activities for urban families to the website and each Thursday, we publish a Weekend Tipsheet with the best of these ideas. We are always on the lookout for events and activities that are off the mainstream’s radar, unexpected, inclusive, whimsical, maybe even a little magical.

Life is short. Childhood is long.
