VTuber News: Hololive Staff a-chan announces her resignation effective by the end of June 2024.
Earlier this afternoon, A-chan announced through her official X (formerly Twitter), that she will be leaving Hololive effective by the end of June 2024. A-chan tweeted two versions of her official statement (one in Japanese and one in English) regarding her reason to leave Hololive and Cover Corporation. It was stated that she will not be able to return to work as planned. She has apologized to everyone that had hoped for her return after 3 months since the announcement that she will be having the said break due to helping a relative that had health concerns.
She has expressed her gratitude over the 7 years that she has been with Hololive and Cover Corporation and is thankful for the journey she went through from supporting her best friend, Tokino Sora towards her dream and goal.
She will be cheering Hololive production from the sidelines as a fan from now on and hopes it will become even more beloved across the world.
A-chan aka Yuujin A(Friend A), is one of the pillars of Cover Corporation and Hololive productions from its humble beginnings back in 2016 when they approached Motoaki Tanigo aka YAGOO for help to achieve her bestfriend's dreams (Tokino Sora) to become an idol.
