RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Sunday vowed that Pakistan Army as a national army will leave no stone unturned to contribute to the cause of national security and development.

The army chief’s message on the occasion of New Year, shared by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), reiterated the armed forces’ resolve of national service and protection despite all odds.

“We take pride in our unwavering commitment to the people of Pakistan. Pakistan Army and the nation are one. No one can defeat the spirit of Pakistan,” Gen Munir said.

تھانہ بھاگٹ ضلع منڈی بہاؤالدین میں تعینات پولیس کنسٹیبل شبیر میکن ایک عورت کی جان بچاتے ہوئے نہر میں ڈوب کر شہید۔ ایک عورت اسم و مسکن نامعلوم جس نے رسول،قادر آباد لنک نہر مانو چک میں خودکشی کی نیت سے چھلانگ لگا دی ۔ شبیر میکن اسکو بچانے کے لئے نہر میں کود گیا۔ عورت کو جان سے بچا لیا گیا مگر شبیر میکن خود نہر کی لہروں کا مقابلہ کرتے تھک گیا اور جام شہادت نوش کر لیا۔
اللّٰہ پاک شبیر میکن کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلی مقام عطاء فرمائے آمین ثم آمین 🤲

چلے جو گے شہادت کا جام پی کر تم
رسولِ پاک نے بانہوں میں لے لیا ہوگا
علی تمہاری شجاعت پہ جھومتے ہوں گے
حُسین پاک نے اِرشاد یہ کیا ہوگا
تُمہیں خدا کی رضائیں سلام کہتی ہیں
