I love the outdoors and being active so I try to make healthy choices to nourish my mind and body. These are my kinda healthy takes on indulgent classics. I've tried a lot of online recipes- the good, the bad, the inedible. My goal is to share my favourite recipes while having some fun.

Clean out the fridge with a stir-fry:
1. Whisk 1/2 cup orange juice, 2 tsp soy sauce, 1 tsp ginger, chili, pepper, 1 tsp cornstarch
2. Stir-fry the contents of your fridge crisper
3. Turn off heat, then add the sauce

Keep calm and meal prep on. My new favourite, miscellaneous items with Pearl barley.
Step 1- cook Pearl barley (25 minutes in the instant pot)
Step 2- Saute kale, mushrooms, and garlic in a healthy amount of butter
Step 3- boil one egg
Step 4- slice an avocado
Step 5- top with kimchi

I was eating a bowl of popcorn for dinner tonight and thought I can do better. Here's my version of a 15 minute Kindahealthy dinner, pickled asian salad, pot stickers (msg free from the frozen section of walmart) and edmame.

To pickle the veggies mix 1 tsp of rice vinegar, 1 tbsp fish sauce, couple pinches of sugar, splash of lime juice and any your favorite veggies.
