"Mahisasurmardini" a radio program created originally by Bani Kumar, Pankaj Kumar Mallick and Birendra Krishna Bhadra, features some of the best names in the Bengali music industry and till date it is traditionally aired at the dawn of Mahalaya When you wake up and turn on the radio, the deep voice goes "Akashbani Kolkata..." Hundreds of thousands of Bengali's share the above story, a story of excitement, anxiety and a happy and exciting Puja!
