The inspiration for our first static aluminum profile rig we assembled in 2020. Due to the covid situation buying a trackracer or simlabs rig simply wasn't possible. Instead we had to piece together a DIY job using t-slot profiles and custom made aluminum external joining plates.

The final prototype only slightly deviated from this design. We used 8040 for the chassis rails and cross members and 12040 for the wheelbase verticals to make the rig more economically viable.
