Travel Curious Often An in depth, CURIOUS look at worldwide destinations: www.travelcuriousoften.com When it comes to traveling, we are insatiably curious! Hop on board!

Our goal is to really get inside a place. What we don't want is a quick "been there, done that" touristy check list. TRAVEL CURIOUS OFTEN reflects that "get inside" philosophy. We take our readers on joy rides that go off-the-beaten-path. Together, we explore local history, music, architecture and the cuisine of each destination. Lodging recommendations include everything from cute family-run inns

to five star castles. Best of all, local writers and other curious travelers always contribute to the mix, with insightful commentary and jaw-dropping photography.

Getting the most out of a visit to the Musée du Louvre — Paris’ perennial hot spot — is no easy task. The crowds can be terrifying and since the museum houses the largest collection of art in the world (literally), it’s difficult to know where to start.

Fortunately, Walks of France (associated with Walks of Italy and Walks of New York) has solved all these issues beautifully. They’ve created a tour that highlights the major works of art at the Louvre and manages to avoid the crowds with perfectly timed arrivals within the various galleries. Not a minute of the 3+ hour tour is wasted! http://travelcuriousoften.com/uncategorized/a-walk-through-musee-du-louvre/

Along the Côte d’Azur - The drive along the French Riviera is spectacular. And we’re headed to Cassis, one of the prettiest harbor villages you’ve ever seen. Views from the Route des Cretes are heart stopping. After a lunch of fresh fish and a crisp white Clos Sainte-Magdeleine.....you’ll never want to leave.
