Fassagh Films Fassagh is a townland in Fermanagh where my great grandparents had their farm homestead. Born in Fer I'm Joyce Greenaway. I haven't laughed so much in years.

I wrote the 8 'Chalk & Cheese' scripts on a Tuesday evening & we filmed them on the Friday - in a day. We stood at the boot of Matthew's car, ran the lines a couple of times, shot the scenes with 2 or 3 takes - and moved on! I'm an actress, writer, musician, film maker. Fassagh is the Townland in Fermanagh where my great grandparents had their land. The old house at Fassagh is still there. So on C

hristmas Day 2016, round the dinner table, three generations of my family set to work. I shared my vision for the logo, my mother, Laura, drew an outline of the homestead and wrote out the text in traditional Gaelic script and my niece, Victoria Gallagher, effortlessly created a work of exquisite simplicity. Fassagh films is a tribute to all the powerful, talented, courageous women of my family and my heritage in the land of my birth.

Just a wee laugh in the midst... thought I’d repost and for the English among us, the word you’re missing is Castlereagh, ‘only as far as Castlereagh.’
Now, Castlreagh is a well renowned police station in loyalist East Belfast that I, Joyce, even spent a night with a PACE interview in... as a solicitor mind, not a client, and a truly memorable night at that.
