The product does specify wearing alone for natural glow or over your foundation for extra coverage. I think on certain days I would add it over my regular foundation. Hence, why I believe it has an applicator stick though I rather have a pump. I applied it evenly over my face except for my nose where I dabbed on a little extra. It does give a beautiful sun-kissed glow look to your skin with a hint of shimmer. I like the product very much, but I might use it differently on certain days. I apply it mostly at night, though it can be ysing for morning and night after your toner and serum. My skin felt a more dry than usual so applied a little more than the dime-size amount suggested. A little does go a very long way. it is super thick and rich with some oils mixed in. It has the tremella mushroom in the ingredients which can hold 500x its weight in water, keeping skin hydrated and nourished. It is excellent for the winter months ahead and if you experience drying. I love how soft my skin feels! I do not recommend this formula for oily skin or in warmer weather during the daytime when oil production may be higher.
