As a perfectionist, I love tweaking things to make them look slightly more brilliant. I mainly edit headshots, but have started expanding into environmental, special effects & editorial edits.
For headshots, the goal is to make the edits look as natural as possible, while enhancing the natural features of each subject. Some main components include: eye brightening/color pop & blemish removal/skin smoothing. A trick for headshot airbrushing (& sometimes editorial) is to make sure that you can still see the pores through the smoothing. That way the skin still looks natural.
