Global Ad Spend to grow 5.9% in 2025 : Dentsu

Dentsu Global Ad Spend Forecasts 2025: 5.9% Growth Predicted as Algorithmic Strategies Reshape Media Investments

The global advertising market is forecast to grow by 6.8% year-over-year to close 2024 at $772.4 billion. 

Ad spend growth is forecast to continue at 5.9% in 2025, yet still outpacing the global economy by 2.7 percentage points. 

Algorithmically enabled ad spend is estimated to reach 59.5% of total ad spend in 2024 and 79.0% in 2027. 

Dentsu’s latest Global Ad Spend Forecasts reveal a projected 6.8% growth in global advertising spend for 2024, reaching $772.4 billion. This growth projection has been revised up following the return to double-digit growth (+10.7%) of digital ad spend, the impact of sporting and political events, and improved outlooks across the US, UK, Brazil, and France.
