So, on Sunday we were filming a Hamster being chased around Bolton town centre by a grim reaper and today I was stood in graveyard in Lancaster because of a CGI Roman fort which needed a bit of detective work. None of this feels very festive! ..and still no Perry Como on the radio! Tsk.....:)

Well, the last six months have been a blur! I thought I'd best update otherwise Slade and Perry Como will appear on the TV and it will be snowing...Amongst other work, we've had a fantastic opportunity working with the excellent DACA in Manchester re-creating Clitheroe Castle and the Forts at Lancaster. This is ongoing and there's a great deal of fascinating work to be done, animation, re-creations and staring ( baffled) at geo-phys images like Tony Robinson and asking questions like " what is it?". Great opportunity and huge thank you to Loura at DACA.

Well, finally a moment of quiet!( actually we just watched Dr Who). It's been a fabulous few weeks working on theatre pieces, short films and music. Now we just have to finish a CGI pop promo set in a Dali-esque universe, a video with a Burlesque dancer, and FX supervise a time hopping travel at a northern castle. All before lunch!

What have I been up to facebook? I've not been on facebook due to the vast amount of work facebook! Its all good. exciting projects ahead as we just edit 6 shorts, 2 pop videos and plan for a full CGI re-creation of a roman castle. Heres a still from the Welkins..

Creating a new video for Vanessa Quai. This is unusual in that the footage could not have been shot further away from here....Vanuatu, in the pacific. Here I am looking out of the office window at a frosty Manchester, editing footage of waterfalls on a paradise island. Talk about 'rubbing it in' ;)

Well, after a 34 hour day creating animations of multi axle trucks, articulated lorries and rigids, complete with drivers and cyclists getting knocked off bikes...I think its time to think about film scripts again!

If one has to model a US city in 3d, it would be nice to model a city with character, interesting buildings and beautiful landscapes.. what do we get? Tucson. Its worth having a look on google earth so that you never make the mistake of booking a flight there..
