Go behind the scenes of Marvel Studio's WandaVision. The show is meta look at the making of television, franchise crossovers, and setting up the future of Marvel Studios films and series.

Here are 7 things that you should know about the making of the series:

🎥 The show was shot on one camera system, the ARRI ALEXA LF, with 47 different lenses ranging from cine primes to vintage glass.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 The first episode ‘Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience’ was actually filmed before a live studio audience.
🧹 Agatha was filmed all along, usually filming her scenes at the end of coverage since all characters were still in costume on location.
🎼 Her theme song, and all WandaVision opening title songs, were written by the same duo behind Frozen's "Let It Go" and Coco's "Remember Me"
📺 The show references family sitcoms because of their strong thematic connection to Wanda's loss of her parents, brother, Vision, and children.
👤 Vision was painted blue in early episodes, since blue appears red when shot in black and white.
🪄 The Hex got its look from the effect of magnets on old CRT televisions and tv static.

Downtown Carnage... or, uh, technically "Downtown Carnage FINAL v3".

This render was made with a 12K plate captured on the Blackmagic Design URSA Mini Pro, 3D monster Drake from Mixamo, and video elements from Film Bodega and RocketStock. The 3D animation was done in Blender, and final comp in After Effects. Check out our Reels for a breakdown of the shot.

This was made to test the capabilities of the URSA 12K, and we were cetrainly impressed. Our full review is now on the Am I A Filmmaker YouTube channel. Link in bio.
