TRAFFIC CRASH WITH ROLLOVER I-10 AT THE 82 MILE MARKER; ONE EASTBOUND LANE SHUT DOWN

Walton County Sheriff’s Office and Walton County Fire Rescue, Florida are on scene of a traffic crash with rollover blocking one eastbound lane of Interstate 10 at the 82 mile marker.

Traffic is backing up in this area so we encourage motorists to plan for delays or take an alternate route.

Two suspects wanted in connection to multiple armed robberies in Panama City have been arrested and charged.

Detectives with the Panama City Police Department have been investigating armed robbery cases in the city, including four at Dollar General stores and a single case at a convenience store.

In each case, a black male entered the business wearing a mask, carrying a black pistol, demanding cash. Through the work of the entire Investigative Services team, including Detectives, Crime Analysts and Crime Scene Technicians and using tips from the public, two persons of interest were identified: Jaden Delvon Larry, B/M, 24, of Panama City and Michael Lee Custis, B/M, 61, a transient.

Larry was charged last week with the armed robbery of a Dollar General located on W. 15th Street and a convenience store on W. 11th Street. Through our continued investigation, Larry was charged with additional charges of armed robbery of another Dollar General on E. 5th Street and a second robbery at the Dollar General on W. 15th Street.

Custis was charged with the Easter Sunday armed robbery of the Dollar General on Cherry Street. Both men were booked into the Bay County Jail. There is no apparent connection between the suspects.
