Cadburys $16 Million Dollar Saviour Package

Greetings Readers. Another quick topic to get the ball rolling again here at the Gander, the Government may be slotting $16 Million to Cadbury to help them out. This is interesting because who really thought the CHOCOLATE Industry was suffering. Could this be aby product of the Green Extremist Red machine doing another number on one of Tasmanias Bigger Industries?? Is this a by-product of the Greens Brain trust who basically want you all to eat carrots, smoke dope and be slaves for the rest of the world?

We here at the Gander pretty much consume enough chocolate to feed a small army of dwarves trained by Bryan "Captain Bu****it" Green.

How many of you out there support this move by the Governement and How many of you support by buying those Chocolatey Goodness Bars?

16/07/2014

Well Readers, It appear Professor Clive has been at it again in parliament, firstly siding with Labor, The Greens and the Motorist Party to block the Carbon tax Repeal.
Annnnnd once again he's using it to further his own agenda through the PUP party . Does Clive the Cad really give a damn about you, our Readers?
We here at The Times think not!

But let's hear what you have to say Dear readers. What do you think about Colonel Clink aka Clive an Industry man jumping into bed with the Greens? How do you feel about the Disaster Squad Green, PUP and Labor trying to keep a basically useless Carbon Tax in so that YOU our Dear Readers have to pay more for pretty much everything?

Have your say! Let Us know how you're feeling about this issue.

Greetings Readers!

Well the election has come and gone!

The Tasmanian People have spoken and Change is in the air!
Lala is out Hodgy is in, Labor and minority ruled government is gone and we in Tasmania now how a Majority Government.
A Majority Government whose first task is ripping apart the Forest Agreement and opening up Tasmania for Business!\

The liberal Girls and Boys are in power now and willbe under the watchful eye of the Tasmanian people to see if they can make good on their promises and follow through with their policies.

Is it a change for good? Well time will tell.

It certainly cannot be any worse than the Labor/Green Government destructo regime.

With positive management and forward thinking people in power, just maybe Tasmania can be pulled back from the brink of the economic abyss that it was heading for. Just maybe our jobless can have futures. Our Forestry, Mining and the many other industries that the Green/Labor Government had such a negative effect on can bounce back and grow to become the well managed, sustainable and ecologically positive industries that they were truly meant to be.

On a further positive note if the Greens do not get any more seats then their Party status is in real danger of being removed! Tarzan McKim must be loving it as he will lose his perks! I wonder how attractive his job will be when it starts losing its lustre!

A few negative results from the election. LaLa and Green have retained their seats (even though they are no longer Premier and deputy any more) and will still have some input into the future, albiet a minor one. Remember those people in Braddon who voted to keep the clown in their electorate (even though he lives in HOBART and has done for ages) that you have given him his power. It's on your heads. Although if he keeps being forgetful and not telling the people of Braddon about important facts like approving the Tarkine name then I'm guessing his popularity will drop further.

Remember too readers that at least we have another gentleman from the Liberals in Braddon now, Mr Adam Brooks. A fellow who seems to care about the people he represents and has such a popular public face.

We are still waiting to hear the final results, with postals, preferential votes and such to be distributed and counted. We here at The Times will be keeping an ear to the ground as to the fate of the other Braddon Candidates.

We do ask our Readers one favour though. There are many unfavourable posts running around face book and the media as a whole in regards to the Liberal Party. We ask you to show patience and understanding whilst the transition from the slack-jawed labor/green Government is moved out and the for all appearances motivated Liberal Party is ushered in. Please remember that things do not happen overnight and there is still a lot for them to do before they can start fulfilling their election promises.

Remember, we as a state elected them in because we wanted change, we wanted progress in Tasmania and despite the fact that we have been frustrated for the last decade and a half, we who elected the Liberals in need to "give them a go" to prove their worth.

And too, once they have been given time and patience, if they cannot do what they say they can do and get Tasmania back into the positive economic state it should be then and only then should they feel the wrath of the true Tasmanian people and the sound and power of their voices!

Keep checking in for further updates!

So Readers as you can see, many serious contenders to choose from! Also a lot of pretenders.
At the end of the day, when you vote all a decent person or magazine can ask is that you vote for the party that you believe will do the job for Tasmania. Vote with you head though and not just your heart. The heart tends to soften and pick choices because we feel sorry for those smaller parties.
Remember though that Tasmania will continue to wither and die both culturally and economically if we do not vote in at least one of the Major two Parties, namely Liberal and Labor. These really are the only two at this stage with the size and backing and strength to move us forward into the next generation of Government in Tasmania.

The Yellow palmers and the Greens just do not have the ability by themselves to produce the results and push through the things that we need to bring Tasmania back from the edge, Mining, Forestry, Aquaculture, Farming and Tourism.

EVEN though you feel that the smaller parties would be a change, never forget these few points:

If back 30 or so years ago we did actually dam the Franklin, we would not be paying through the nose for power here in Tasmania, our elderly and lower income families would not be struggling as much and we would be receiving much more income from selling power to the northern states of Australia.

The Greens Agenda for the last 20 years has been to destroy the timber and mining industries in Tasmania which has also put 1000's directly out of jobs and tens of 1000's indirectly our or work because they are no longer need to support the industries that were closed down.

Remember also that the Greens flew overseas (using Taxpayers Money) to protest and lie to our customers overseas thereby reducing our Global Export Strength.

Don't be fooled by promises of Nick McKim in regards of getting a better Timber industry. It's hard for a person like him to help any industry he hasn't been a Cultural part of at all.

Palmer have a lot of Slogans and Hollow Promises. None of which have any depth or substance to support them. There is no evidence at all that points to exactly how the policies will be fulfilled.

Clive palmer got himself onto the Rail Board in Queensland to help himself to the cheap railways he's been campaigning for years to get anyway. He has also been lending money between his companies to pay debts without those loans being re-payed, which means a loss to the lending companies. His leases in PNG are also under doubt now the new Minister is in. But he'll tell you he's doing alright!

Kevin Morgan, the Palmer Premier elect couldn't allegedly run a farm with cows. How can we expect him to run a proud state like Tasmania filled with hard Working Tasmanians? We Can't he doesn't have the integrity or skills to do it even with Palmer behind him.

Bryan Green in the Electorate of Braddon. He hasn't even lived amongst his supposed people for the last few years and has just recently changed his mailing address to Mount Stewart Road in Hobart where he has been living instead of amongst the proud people of Braddon. He has been under scrutiny twice and was not proven innocent in court either time as the jury was hung. He somehow "FORGOT" one of the most important items to tell the people at the Pro Industry Rally in Tullah, the fact that he approved the name "The Tarkine" Seems he appears to be one forgetful fellow as he seems to forget which woman allegedly supported him through all his turbulent years before allegedly turning his back on her for another younger model who may be out of a high profile job Saturday!. Is this the Integrity of a person that the people of Braddon want to represent them?

These are the same people who seem to be threatened by Brenton Best who appears to have a knack for telling LaLa she should resign along with Green and who lives amongst the people he represents. Witnesses state that he has come through for them time and again and that he truly embodies the old Labor Values of for the people.

The Socialist Alliance Party's newspaper is called the Green Left. This should indicate a little about them. Sounds Russian to us Comrades!
Independents. Well these are pretty much WYSIWYG (What You See IS What You Get) . To this bunch of people we here at The Times say, Good Luck. And , if you do get in try not to let us down and please make sure you are doing it for the right reasons.

The Labor party, there is so much we can say about them as a whole. The teamed up with the Anti-Everything greensand then bent over and let Bob and his cohorts ream them. The allowed a very minor party to rule the roost and almost succeed in destroying tens of thousands of Tasmanians jobs through the destruction of the Timber industry, and yes Mining was next and then Aquaculture and Farming. That is out of the mouth of the extremists themselves and was provided by some under cover Pro industry Stalwarts.

Labor had K-Rudd, McClown Gillard, then K-Rudd again. They really couldn't decide which leader they wanted and stabbed a lot of their people in the back to get this skull duggery done.

In the opinion of The Time there is only one Labor man worth voting fro and thats Brenton best. at least he has the balls to stand up to LaLa and Green and oppose their destruction of Tasmania and their apparent love of the recently departed bedfellows the Greens. It's also the one Labor man who in our opinion will be getting our vote Saturday!

Once again Dear readers, whoever you vote for, please think carefully and weigh it up carefully.

Your Votes will either Damn us all or Push us into a positive future where Tasmanian families can thrive and grow in the home state and our FIFO men and women can come home and spend more quality time with their partners and children.

Because, Dear Readers, in the end YOU will be deciding not just our generations fate but the fate of generations to come in the future, our children.

As Always Our Friends and Readers,

Greetings Readers!

An amazing turn of events today in the electorate of Braddon!

Bryan Green came down from the Mount in Hobart to venture up the Mount in Burnie to spruik his policies to the fine people of Braddon.

Quite frankly Readers we here at The Times are shocked to hear of Bwyan raising his forgetful head in Braddon and it must be at least the 3rd time in 12 months.

We here think that if you are going torepresent an Electorate you should at least live there! Remember that at Election time Readers, Bryan lives in Hobart but Brenton Lives in Braddon, a veritable local!

One would assume that maybe his GPS was confused and instead of Mount Stuart Road in Hobart, where he has lived for over 12 months, it has taken him to Mount Street in Burnie!

Word has it that he encountered mixed reactions and one avid Reader reports a certain palor resembling Mount Blanc, sweating and shock for Bwyan after a knock on the wrong door.

Could it be that Bwyan knows that his time on Tasmania's political stage is just about up and he will be due for an Mount Everest and that a more worthy Labor Man will be taking over as the main Labor man in Braddon!

At least Bwyan, in his retirement years after the March Election he will have time to Climb Every Mountain, listening to the Sound of Music.

aybe he won't be able to Alp himself and be tempted to go to Mount LaLa! He may be Yodelling up the wrong Tree!

Greetings Readers!

It seems at least one Member of the PUP pack may have made a politically fatal mistake and gone to the dogs by authorising a newspaper ad which appeared in a popular tasmanian newspaper on Monday, an ad in the paper depicting the 2.3 Tasmanian Political Leaders, photos which were used without their consent
If proven guilty the Dog Catchers may be called in to take jacqui back to the pound for Neutering.

Which means Jacquie who is due to soon begin life in the Senate will have to forfeit her position and may face Pound Time.

Prof Clive Poodle palmer may have been barking up the wrong tree when he gave Jacquie a PUP Bone and may need to source a replacement puppy for the job.

It appears the 2.3 leaders are quite upset at the potential breach of protocol and an investigation has apparently been launched into the person responsible for the Ad.

Dare we say Jacquie Lambie will be on a tight leash for the meantime for being in the Doghouse!

She may need a shepherd to keep her on the straight line.

Words from Mongrel Morgan were that they media are barking up the wrong tree!

We may have to wait and see if she can dig herself out of the hole she is heading into or will she go to the dogs.

Good Evening Readers!

Here we have a little snippet that was written by one of our Readers! Yes we appreciate your thoughts on everything Political in Tasmania!

A big Thank You to the Reader who has allowed us to re-post this:

Posted in response to a Green propaganda story:

This is here in case it gets deleted there:

It never ceases to surprise me the length that the political Greens have gone to with their propaganda and carefully scripted media "reports" to try and brainwash intelligent people around Australia and the World. Especially those on the mainland who jump on board the supposed cause as it makes them feel good about themselves. And you know what those people of you with that good heart are truly a benefit to our works, the world needs good people.

Unfortunately, it's exactly these people that the political Greens target, exploit and take advantage of to get what they want, and sadly actor of it is for their personal egos and agenda.

Ok that out of the way lets address a few of the comments here.
The original post that started this thread regarding the massive environmental degradation, this hasn't happened, plain and simple. The last almost 200 years logging has been happening in Tasmania as has reforestation. I was born in the middle if the newly formed "Tarkine", a name born from the loins of Bob Brown by the way, the same Bob Brown who with his two friends back in the day who wrote a thesis in the extinct Thylacine. The same Bob Brown who apparently trapped, slaughtered and butchered Tasmanian Devils for bait to lure any prospective Thylacine out (allegedly they like the smell).

I was born, played as a child and grew up in and around the areas that are being preached about now. The largest portion is button grass plains (not the devils natural habitat), the place on the West Coast where STT were protesting is about 80% button grass plains, just ask the surfers who go to Marrawah.

Pretty much everywhere that has been logged on the Nw Coast has been logged and grown back and in a lot of places more than once.
The Timber men, women and children do NOT want to destroy the forests, to do so would destroy their livelihood and cultural heritage in forestry families. Why would anyone want to remove their income which feeds their families, would you? It does not make any sense at all.

Do you know what is really happening down in Tassie? We are in an economical slide, more people are dropping into the poverty zone year after year. Children are suffering, their education is suffering because the poetical Greens want to lock ALL of Tasmania up (again bob browns words).

Whilst this is fine for mainlanders who can go and visit and frolic in the woods. It most definitely NOT fine for Tasmanian families. It must definitely is NOT fine for our state.

The statements about jobs in tourism being more abundant well at the moment that is true, but, the cash flow for Tasmania from those jobs is potentially a lot lower than a controlled forestry industry.

Is it not the right of all men, women and children to live a good life? Is it not all our right to earn a living to feed our family and to provide a positive economy to educate our children and have the medical facilities available to keep them healthy, to have a positive education so that our children can become morally positive members of the future society of not just Tasmania but Australia.

It's fine for the Mainland of Australia to have such a positive economy and jobs to support their families, why can't we Tasmanians have that too? By supporting the locking up of our state you are taking food from our children's mouths. You are saying no you can't have medical facilities. You Tasmanians can't have a positive education for your kids. You are saying to we Tasmanians that we are Less than the Mainland States, that we aren't allowed to advance our state or our children's future.

I know most of you are under the impression that you are doing the right thing by supporting the political cause of the Greens and it feels good to be doing something that you have been educated to think is good and right. But, you need to dig deeper, listen to not just the hype and propaganda that you are bring spoon fed by the Greens and the Media. Because if you don't, you will destroy not just my families home, but the half a million other Tasmanians as well.

Can you live with being a supporter if the degradation of your own people's lives?

Can you live with destroying the thousands of children in Tasmanians future?

We Tasmanians want to be able to pass our traditions down to our children. We want our children to respect and appreciate what their ancestors have given them and fought so hard to give them.

And, no one has the right to tear that away!

Strong words indeed!

If anyone would like to submit to The Times then please message us here on Facebook! We really would like to hear what YOU have to Say!''

Again a big Thanks to one of our Readers who allowed us to put this up!

And as usual Dear Readers! TRUTH or Fiction? YOU Decide!

Greetings Readers!

Welcome back to The Times for another exciting story about Mr. Clive Palmer and his possibly ever decreasing wealth base and profit margin.

A story appeared in the Australian the other day (26th Feb) about Mr Palmers Political brother in PNG (Mr William Duma) losing his job and being replaced by a former police minister, Mr Duban who has been charged with the task of reviewing stagnant leases like the ones MR Palmer has in PNG to see if they adhere to PNG's development rules.

Rules, which enable the free allocation of tenements which have certain conditions, such as there needs to be a set amount of work conducted during a certain amount of time or else the tenement's control is returned to the PNG Government, effectively meaning that any monies invested for say exploration will be lost. Mr Palmers leases are all held through Palmer petroleum and Chinampa Exploration of which he owns 50% are amongst that are under scrutiny!

we here at The Times wonder just what effect this will have on Palmers Political aspirations if he loses access to such valuable resources (rumoured to be estimated at over $35b profit) to fund his party into the future. That's assuming he keeps getting people into roles in our Government.

This has got to put him under a lot more stress, especially as the elections in Tasmania will be soon happening and PUP has candidates.
Will this spell a further decline for Prof. Palmer? Will PUP suffer if their backer starts to lose money? Will Captain Morgan be more than a Rum in Tasmania? (We think not to this last one!)

25/02/2014

Greetings Readers!

Well we here at The Times found ourselves wondering why Professor Palmer was so keen to have Tasmania on his trophy shelf when a very observant Reader pointed out to us that there may be more than meets the eye!

According to the report in the Australian:

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/features/clives-cash-challenge/story-e6frg6z6-1226833073680 -premium

Prof Palmer and his menagerie of companies may or may not be finding himself in some financial difficulties in the near future!

It appears as if the Palmer group of Businesses have been lending each other money without and repayment. An interesting set of variables which can lead to trouble and woe not just for Prof Palmer but possibly for the future of PUP lot as well, especially if Uncle Clive runs out of funding which PUP use to display their meaningless Slogans and Hollow policies.

This was suspected by the Chinese who run Sino Iron, a company that Prof Palmer wanted to go belly up on the grounds of Insolvency.

Insolvency Dear Readers basically means that the company is unable to repay debts and is basically Bankrupt (Insolvent).

Unfortunately according to one of our Sister Newspapers, The Australian ," Sino Iron is directly supported to the tune of more than $4 billion, which is yet to be spent."

And the Parent Company, " Citic Pacific, which is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, can point to cash and bank deposits of $4.8bn, undrawn bank facilities of $1.8bn, net assets of $14.9bn and net current assets of $3.2bn. Insolvency was never going to fly."

Not even close to Bankrupt Dear Readers! In fact quite the opposite with Sino Iron is a major part of the Chinese largest multi-billion dollar project in Australia!

What this has done for the oh so clever Prof Palmer has raised major questions about his own group of companies and their economical viability! Don't get it wrong wages and creditors are being paid so they aren't insolvent, yet! But, there has been a trend of asset stripping from the Palmer groups major cash cow, the QNI Nickel companies, which is giving loans to his other companies and ever so kindly forgiving them the repayment of the loan.

In fact the picture that this paints for Prof Palmer and his self styled Multi-Billionaire status is far from pretty or correct as according to the corporate filings that has been submitted since 2010 indicates that these companies have ever growing cash flow and stability problems.

Whether this is true or not is still up in the air but The Australian Newspaper researchers appear to validate it.

What effect will this have on PUP when a political party needs cash to spread their unproven promises and potentially damaging media propaganda?

Your guess is as good as ours Dear Readers!

Is it all Smoke and Mirrors from the PUP group?

We leave that up to you also!

Will the Palmer group survive Prof Palmers Political Ambition?

Again time will tell!

The big question readers is why is Prof Palmer and PUP so keen to get Tasmania and its untapped mineral wealth under his belt?

Why so keen to get PUP in they would sign a deal with The Greens for Preferential Votes?

Is it possible that they may have an inside "man" high up in the Tasmanian political tree, someone with enough oomph in their position and desperate enough to sign a deal with PUP and the Greens to retain power in Tasmania?

Is this conjecture or possible truth?

Does Prof Palmer need Tasmania and it's "potential" more than Tasmanians need him?

Or are Clivey and friends just CLOWNING Around again?

As they say on the X-Files, "The Truth is out there!"

TRUTH or Fiction?

YOU Decide!
