Chuck is a hip hop artist, DJ, producer, audio engineer, and a radio station owner. He has been active in the music industry for 30 years. In 1992 he recorded his first demo with his partner Prince Newkirk and formed a group called Uptown Nation and then received an opportunity to perform on Showtime at the Apollo which showcased multiple talents in1994 hosted by @iamsteveharveytv. Uptown Nation received a standing ovation for their great performance. Chuck says performing at the Apollo was an eye opening experience that changed his life. In 1998 Chuck started his own company called NovaKhain Enterprises which houses a recording studio, radio station, and where Chuck has also produced and recorded hundreds of artists. Chuck currently has a single that dropped with ILYTRULY featuring @Neyo called Baby. Chuck has hosted a radio show for over 10 years and has interviewed artists such as ICE-T, N.O.R.E., Warren G, Kool G Rap, Da Rockwilder, EPMD and many others. Among the many hats that Chuck wears he also owns an independent radio station called Record Breakaz Radio which showcases artists locally, nationally and internationally. Record Breakaz station is located in New Britain. Chuck inspires to work with major artists such as 2 Chainz, Benny The Butcher, Conway The Machine, and Jay-Z the super lyricist. Chuck motto he lives by is “Not to worry about the time but just about the work and being your best. When it’s your time you will know. He is releasing his EP called Curse of a Genius under Death Rose Records/Sony The Orchard. And that’s exactly what we are here to do! Record Breakaz Radio was an idea that was started by music connoisseur Chuck Platinum. Chuck has been a music professional for almost 30 years. Starting out as a child prodigy under his father DJ Butch SOS tutelage they became business partners when Chuck was the tender age of 12 in 1992. Since then Chuck has developed NovaKhain Enterprises which houses an e-commerce web based site call The Beat Franchise partnered with Beatstars. He began developing Record Breakaz Radio in 2017 after spending 12 years as a radio personality. He has interviewed stars such as Warren G, Ice-T, EPMD, Rockwilder, Kool G. Rap, DJ Webstar, Treach, Pete Rock, Buckwild, Scram Jones and many more. Record Breakaz is designed for the independent artist who always wanted a shot at being on radio, but never had the opportunity due to how difficult it is to get airplay on traditional terrestrial radio. We are here to utilize our resources to develop talent who are looking to further their career in music.

The unique platform will allow artists to be heard from all around the world being that it is solely based on the internet. Record Breakaz Radio is currently developing an app for IOS and Android platforms so you can hear your new favorite artists directly on your smartphone. Our radio station runs 24/7 bringing you the new wave in indie hip-hop & r&b music. In the next few years Record Breakaz Entertainment will be the go to source for new music and are always looking for sponsors and partnerships with other brands to build a conglomerate.
