My debut album PERPETUAL LUAU is 6 years old this week. Kevin Spencer created this fabulous short "making of" the album documentary starring James Harman, Nathan James, Marty Dodson, Mike Tempo & myself. Laura Chavez who is also on the record recorded her parts before Kevin was able to start the documentary. Ive made many new friends since then and they may not know or have heard the album which is on all streaming formats, YouTube and physical CD format and download sites. I am planning on debuting some new material from my upcoming new recording I am working on, revisiting some Perpetual Luau selections and some "let's get it so lowdown you can smell it" to "take your clothes off when you dance" material! 😛😉!!!

Regardless it'll be a fun time. Special gig in a special environment. If Wine is your thing this too is for you but there are $10 General Admission tickets for non sampling should you just wanna come hang, walk around people watching and hearing some good time music!

Heather Newman’s musical journey began at a very young age, joining the Blues Society of Omaha youth artists program Blues Ed at the age of 10 as a vocalist. She has established herself through her passion for music from the get-go and was able to support many national and international touring acts as part of that program. Since relocating to Kansas City in 2015, she has forged a powerful roots band that has brought her numerous awards including two Blues Blast Music Awards, the Sean Costello Rising Star Award, and a Blues Music Award nomination. She has created an energetic, fun, and soulful stage performance with a killer original set. Her band members lock in with her deep-rooted grooves to produce styles such as soul, funk, blues, and rock that keep her fans coming back for more.

Howard Mahan is a guitarist with a diverse background in blues, rock, jazz, and roots music who is quickly making a name for himself on the KC Blues-Rock scene as an outstanding musician. A founding member of Mahan the Band, he fronts this regional blues/rock almost jam-band that performs a 50/50 mix of original music and re-crafted cover songs. Relatively new to the KC music scene, Howard has been working with many of the local musicians of different genres besides branching out on a national level to perform with Grammy-nominated artist, Randy McAllister. He brings his own style of high-energy performance no matter what the situation or the stage.

A self-proclaimed “band guy,” Jacque Garoutte has worn many hats in the music world. Jacque is a vocalist and bass player with the KC Americana band Levee Town, but has played with many other groups and artists in his long music career. Jacque is best known as a singer, bass player, guitar player, and songwriter, but he likes to say “If it makes noise, I'll bang on it." Jacque’s musical prowess shows in his ability to play blues, soul, gospel, R&B, and more.

Brandon Hudspeth is part of the backbone of the KC blues scene. A talented guitarist and vocalist, Brandon has fronted the Americana band Levee Town since 2002 and has opened for and played with countless artists nationally and internationally. A versatile and skilled musician, blues is Brandon’s forte, but he plays many other styles as well, including jazz and classical. Brandon was nominated for four blues awards in 2020 alone, and, as a part of Levee Town, has represented the Kansas City Blues Society in the International Blues Competition twice.
