📣This week, , in partnership with , will release our annual report on AANHPI Mental Health Experiences in California. A landmark study that sheds light on the mental health journeys of AA and NHPI communities.
The purpose of this report is to:
🧩Understand AA and NHPI mental health experiences
🧩Piece together a fuller picture of AA & NHPI mental health through data, literature review, and community leader feedback
🧩Deepen the discussion on the nuances of AA and NHPI mental health
🧩Spur action to eliminate barriers to mental health utilization and access by taking into consideration historical, cultural, and linguistic contexts
The components of the report:
🧩cross-community themes for the AA and NHPI umbrella
🧩seven community-specific briefs – organized by detailed AA & NHPI categories available for CHIS
The seven community briefs include:

🧩Southeast Asian (Vietnamese & Other Southeast Asian)

🧩Chinese
