As an Islamic organisation, it has always been important that Sun Behind The Cloud maintains strong values on which we base our work. Dedicating our time, effort and resources to publishing the best Islamic books in English would be worth nothing if it did not please God and help us to build a relationship with Him. Sincerity and God-centricity therefore must be the driving force behind every page we publish, every social media post and every interaction we have with authors and customers.

No doubt I have made many mistakes along the way, but each time I must go back to my why. Why did I give up a career in academia to publish books? Because I genuinely believed then, as I do now, that Sun Behind The Cloud Publications can do work that will please God; that I can help people with the tawfeeq that comes from Him alone, and that as a community, we can work together to increase our knowledge and understanding of the way He wants us to live in this world.

If you are reading this and you still don’t know what path you want to take in life, do not worry, if you have pleasing God at the core of your values, He will guide you along the way.
May Allah swt open our ways and carry us through good times and challenging times.
