I’ve been doing Hour of the Riff for over 7 years now and it’s always just been about sharing music with others. The only thing I want from this show is for at least one person to find their new favourite band. That’s it. So when someone decides to send me some merch or, in this case (and for the very first time in the whole 7 years I’ve been doing this!), a vinyl copy of their album as a thank you, it really is appreciated!

Huge thank you to the guys from for sending me a copy of their debut album “Raidho” which came out earlier this year. Stoner metal from Nashville, Tennessee which reminds me of The Sword in places, but a lot more chilled and spaced out. These guys won’t be unsigned for long! I’ll leave a link to their bandcamp in the comments if you want to listen to it / buy it for yourself (you should!).

One of my all time favourite stoner rock albums. 2008 was my introduction to stoner rock (beyond Kyuss, QOTSA etc) and this was one of the first that I played to death.

Oakland stoner metal trio White Witch Canyon teams up with Ripple Music for the exclusive vinyl reissue of their 2008 self-titled debut this July 18th, as part of the label's special "Beneath The Desert Floor" series!

Following the recent Glitter Wizard and The Awesome Machine album reissues, Ripple Music keeps forging ahead with the "Beneath The Desert Floor" vinyl series, unearthing long-lost treasures from the early days of stoner rock.
