Happy Halloween Week!

Join us this Friday for a virtual activity to get you in the Halloween mood!

Grab your friends & get on zoom on Friday, October 30th @ 8:30pm EST and learn how to make boo-ze concoctions that you will enjoy making & drinking! Bonus; you don’t have to go anywhere... just login to zoom!

We will be making:

A Classic Paloma!
Ingredients:
•blanco or reposado tequila
•simple syrup
•fresh lime juice
•fresh grapefruit juice & soda OR sparkling grapefruit soda
•ice
•optional: kosher salt OR sugar for rim
•optional: lime and glow stick for garnish

We’ll also be making Jello Shots!
Ingredients:
•Vodka
•boiling water
•a packet of your favorite jello flavor (preferably red for Halloween)
•2 oz plastic cups with lids OR sterile syringes (for Halloween theme)
•you will also need a tray & room in your fridge to store them after to let them set!

Here it is: a super easy craft cocktail that will upgrade the rest of your 2020.

While the classic recipe calls for 3 ingredients (vanilla vodka, Kahlua, and fresh espresso), we like to upgrade the classic martini with a few touches of our own!

This drink was a special request by one of our friends, but everyone can enjoy it...

See how a few little tweaks make a big difference in flavor to this great brunch or dessert drink! If you’re caffeine sensitive, don’t forget to substitute the regular espresso for a decaf one!

Let us know what you think!

Ingredients:
•1 1/2oz Vanilla Vodka (we used Absolut)
•1/2oz Kahlua Kahlúa
•1/2oz Espresso Shot (we used Starbucks Nespresso pods)
•1/2oz Irish Cream (we used Baileys
•1/2oz Frangelico Frangelico
•espresso beans for garnish

Tools:
•cocktail shaker
•martini glass

A Few Easy Steps:
•place martini glass in freezer for a few minutes to chill it
•fill shaker with ice
•pour in all ingredients
•shake, shake, shake!
•strain drink into martini glass glass
•garnish with 3 espresso beans!

Our favorite way to warm up in the fall, winter, and who are we kidding… anytime of the year is the Hot Toddy.

Hot toddies can also really help reducing your cold symptoms, but you don’t want to overdo it on the whiskey & definitely don’t want to mix alcohol with over-the-counter or prescription medications.

Although this drink can be somewhat like the chicken soup of cocktails, this perfectly balanced concoction of acidity and sugar can be a go-to for any time, not just when you’re feeling not-so-great.

Hot Toddy Recipe:

Ingredients:
•1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey (we used Tullamore Dew )
•hot water
•1/2oz honey
•lemon

Tools:
•knife (to cut lemons and garnish)
•kettle to boil water
•cocktail spoon

A Few Easy Steps:
•start by pouring water in the kettle and turn it on to boil
•pour Irish whiskey into a teacup of your choice
•pour in hot water
•squeeze in honey
•squeeze in lemon juice
•stir, stir, stir!
•garnish with lemon

Introducing the Wake Up Kahl

Sometimes an Espresso Martini feels like an evening drink, but you still want a boozy breakfast drink that’s not a mimosa to step up your brunch game. Wake up Kahl is kind of our play on the White Russian, except with the hazelnut-ty goodness of Frangelico, this will pair even better with your full stack of flapjacks. We like this cocktail because it’s easy-to-make, delicious, and leaves you with almost no cleanup!

This cocktail was born when we ran out of Nutella (which is a staple at our family brunch, served with old fashioned pancakes). So we had an idea; make a Nutella-like drink to fill in for our missing puzzle piece; and the rest is history.

4 ingredients are all you need to make this delicious drink, and the best part is that you can garnish it with your chocolate bar of choice!

Ingredients:
•1 1/2oz Vodka (we used )
•1 1/2oz Kahlua Kahlúa
•1 1/2oz Frangelico Frangelico
•1/2oz Whole Milk
•large rock
•chocolate bar garnish Dove Chocolate

Tools:
•cocktail shaker

A Few Easy Steps:
•fill shaker with ice
•pour in all ingredients
•shake, shake, shake!
•put a large rock in a glass of your choice
•strain drink into glass
•garnish with your favorite chocolate bar

The Aperol Spritz cocktail has come a long way from being just a pre-meal cocktail. The red-hot lustrous Aperol is combined with the ever-sweet prosecco to create the most refreshing sweet and bitter effervescent cocktail that can make any moment just a little bit better.
I love the concept of aperitif –
It means “an alcoholic drink taken before a meal to stimulate the appetite.” And my beloved does that and so much more.

Great for: enjoying a drink without having to do a lot of extravagant preparation or elaborate steps.

The mixed drink offers a great taste, lightness and virtually no prep or clean up mess.

Can be served with a n y Italian dish… so it’s also easy to pair!

ingredients:
* 2ozAperol Spritz
* 2oz prosecco (We used from Costco)
* 2oz soda (we used SodaStream USA)
* orange

Tools:
* knife (to cut orange for garnish)
* cocktail spoon
* large wine glass

A few easy steps:
* fill up a large glass of wine with ice
* pour in aperol, soda, prosecco
* stir, stir, stir! (to incorporate all ingredients)
* slice orange for garnish

A Few Easy Steps:
•add ice into your shaker
•squeeze in about half of a lemon
•pour in elderflower liquor
•shake, shake, shake!
•strain into champagne glass, top off with Moscato
•peel the lemon & twist it around the rim of the glass to release the yummy oils

Learn how to make an easy 2 Ingredient dessert cognac cocktail at home.

What we love about using NYAK for this cocktail is the clean toasty oak notes (Bourbon vanilla, toasted bread) that blend deliciously with the nutty hazelnut flavor of Frangelico!

What You'll Need:

Ingredients:
•1 1/2oz NYAK Cognac
•1 1/2oz Frangelico
•Large rock
•Lemon twist

Tools:
•snifter glasses
•ice
•knife or peeler (to cut lemon peel garnish)
•stirring spoon

A Few Easy Steps:
•add a large ice cube into your glass
•pour in equal parts NYAK cognac & Frangelico
•stir, stir, stir!
•peel the lemon & twist it around the rim of the glass to release the yummy oils

I want to share one of my favorite quick and easy gin cocktails that you can make at home that is as refreshing as it is delicious.

What You'll Need:

Ingredients:
•1.5oz gin (I used Tanqueray)
•3/4oz elderflower liquor (I used St. Elder)
•soda (I used SodaStream USA)
•Fresh passion fruit (1-2 per drink)
•fresh mint

Tools:
•shaker
•ice
•knife + cutting board to cut fruit
•spoon for passion fruit
•muddler

A Few Easy Steps:
•grab your shaker & scoop out the passion fruit with a spoon
•slap your mint to start releasing the yummy oils & place it in the shaker
•muddle, muddle, muddle!
•add ice
•pour in gin & elderflower liquor
•shake, shake, shake!
•pour into glass
•top off with soda
•give your drink a stir to make sure the flavors mix together well ❤️
•garnish with extra mint

•shake, shake, shake
•pour into tall glass
•top off with lemon-lime soda
