3 reasons why I started DJing.

Reason 1: The controller
I had a controller before I started DJing. As you might know, the controller is not as expensive compared to the actual turntables and mixer, so I bought it as a Christmas gift for myself. However, I hadn't used it much. One day, one of my friends said to me, "Why don't you start using it?" Yeah, why not?

Reason 2: The Pandemic
The world turned into a pandemic in the 20s. There was almost nothing to do at home except practice DJing during the lockdown. It's a simple and natural reason.

Reason 3: Love and Passion
Simply put, I love music and I also noticed that I love making people happier through music. Do you simply love music and love people who love music?

3 things I wish knew before I started DJing

1. DJing is not crazily hard to master it.
The controller is not super expensive also there are so many tutorials now days online. Alsways not too late to start practice it.

2. Produce your original tracks. not just play it.
The top DJs around the world make their own music as a way to advertise themselves. If you don’t make your own music, you are just promoting other DJs.

3. Make a balance is so important.
Care to leave your ego at the door but too focus on to make audiences entertain is not always right. don’t forget enjoy yourself as well.

1. 以外と練習すればDJは誰でも出来るよ
コントローラーと呼ばれる機材は比較的安価で手に入り、ネットにはたくさん教材があるし、練習を始めるのに遅すぎることはないはず♪

2. 楽曲制作も出来るDJは表現の幅が広がる
自分のトラックを作ることで、独自の世界観を作ることができるよ
他人の曲をプレイするだけでなく作曲にもトライしてみよう♪

3. エゴと需要のバランスを取ることが重要
1人よがりなプレイは好ましく無いけどオーディエンスを意識しすぎて自分のスタイルを見失っては本末転倒。いつだって自分自身も楽しむことを忘れずに♪

3 things what i did to play at actual festivals & nightclubs as a DJ

#1. Practice, practice and practice!
DJ practice is crucial for skill improvement, developing a unique style, reading the crowd, and building confidence for outstanding performances.

#2. Start experience from smaller stages and catch bigger opportunity.
Begin by gaining experience on smaller stages, honing your skills and confidence. As you progress, seize bigger opportunities that come your way. Continual growth and seizing opportunities are key to success.

#3.
Get involved in the DJ community and establish connections. Attend events, network with fellow DJs, and engage with industry professionals. Building relationships can lead to valuable collaborations, learning opportunities, and exposure to new opportunities.
