Howdy! Want a chance to get your story onto Rad Scientist? Well you can submit your story to a first person science storytelling event happening the Friday, March 1st. I'm organizing the event along with other UCSD grad students and one professor. The theme is “Well, that was weird,” and we invite you to interpret it loosely.

We are looking for personal stories related to science that last around 8 minutes Pitches will be collected for stories until January 14th or until we hit 200 pitches.

A group of grad students will help to choose the six most appropriate pitches. The writers of those six pitches will be asked to attend two workshops where stories will be honed and delivery will be practiced. Three of those stories will be selected to play on my KPBS podcast, “Rad Scientist”, with the storytellers consent.

We can’t wait to read your story pitches!
