kizomba vs urban project
With tensions flying high and discussions bustling, I’ve decided to interview kizomba and urban instructors to get their scope on this hot topic. And it’s been “hot” for quite a while actually. I’m sure a lot of us have seen at least one “anti-urban” or “anti-traditional” post. What I felt we could all use is knowledge and as much of it as possible.
Do you have a favorite kizomba instructor you’ve been following? You watched their demos online and took their workshops at festivals. What if you could have a conversation with them and know what they think on the subject? For me, it’s been quite a learning experience and I’m happy to share these interviews with you with amazing insight from top instructors.
Whether you think kizomba and urban are different styles or different dances or not different at all...you’ll be keen to know where all these opinions are coming from! There’s definitely plenty to learn about these two, one being inspired by the other and one having an incredibly rich history.
