Here's where we're at then.

The problem is the quality of the recording for the first three minutes is awful, and when we say awful we mean awful!.
Uncle Ian's head looks like a potato.

Building a soapbox car and entering the Red bull soap box derby,
Callum reviews random food whilst wearing a blindfold.

Following on from yesterday's post:

We decided to search for the resting place of a Great Great Grandad Wendal who's location had been lost over time.

We found him, but also stumbled across this poor chap (literally - Callum fell over the headstone).

Looking his grave registration up on an old disc that we own, we found that he died at 28 Highfield Street, a lodging house in Leicester.

This means that he almost certainly died, along with 107 others on the night of 19th November 1940 at the hands of the Luftwaffe, in what has become known as the Leicester blitz.

It seems that all the other victims were identified apart from him. We think likely due to the guest book being destroyed along with the rest of the lodging house in the explosion.

His poor family would never have known what happened to him.

A little recommendation here from the Wendal's.
In 10 years of visiting the Leicester comedy festival we have never seen a better show than Sarah Callaghan.
