DMTA Studios, LLC DMTA stands for David Music Tang Animation. We are a team of digital animation and music producers creating high quality educational and entertainment videos.

Our core team consists of David Williams and Tang Yan. David holds a BA in Chinese from Western Kentucky University and he is a Hanban Confucius Institute scholar. David is also a studio recording engineer and session musician with close to 20 years experience having worked with many artists in Beijing, China, Nashville, Tennessee, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tang Yan holds a degree in 2D animati

on from Jilin College of the Arts with more than 10 years experience as a professional animator and currently works as an animation director at a studio in Beijing, China. Several of Yan's videos can be seen online and has been viewed by tens of millions of viewers on CCTV throughout China.

Our Story

DMTA stands for David Music Tang Animation. We are a team of digital animation and music producers creating high quality educational and entertainment videos. Our core team consists of David Williams and Tang Yan.

David began his academic studies as a classical guitar student at Indiana University before completing his BA in Chinese at Western Kentucky University. David is also a Hanban Confucius Institute scholar and was the only student out of 124 students to take the HSK placement test to receive a full one-year scholarship to study Chinese Mandarin at North China Electric Power University located in the Changping district of Beijing. He then continued his masters degree studies in Information and Security Assurance at Norwich University drawing from more than a decade of IT experience working for major OEMs such as Dell, Sony, and IBM/Lenovo. David is also a studio recording engineer and session musician with nearly 25 years experience having worked with many artists in Beijing, Nashville, and Oklahoma City.

Tang Yan holds a degree in 2D animation from Jilin Animation Institute with more than 12 years experience as a professional animator and currently works as an animation director at a studio in Beijing, China. Several of Yan's videos can be seen online and has been viewed by tens of millions of viewers on Chinese Central Television (CCTV).
