Facebook is now in the past and FACEBOOK is now in. The major social media platform has announced that it's rebranding by simply changing its name to be in all caps as opposed to lower case letters. A new logo is the next reveal by the Mark Zuckerberg created platform that plans to tie all FACEBOOK owned platforms together.
"Today, we’re updating our company branding to be clearer about the products that come from Facebook. We’re introducing a new company logo and further distinguishing the Facebook company from the Facebook app, which will keep its own branding," Antonio Lucio, Chief Marketing Officer, said in the official statement. "The new branding was designed for clarity, and uses custom typography and capitalization to create visual distinction between the company and app."
Antonio added: "This brand change is a way to better communicate our ownership structure to the people and businesses who use our services to connect, share, build community and grow their audiences."
Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey has responded to the news with one tweet that sends a subtle jab to the new FACEBOOK. "Twitter from TWITTER," he wrote in one message.

Robert Mugabe, Zimbabwe's first post-independence leader, has died aged 95.
He died after battling ill health, his family confirmed to the BBC. Mr Mugabe had been in hospital in Singapore since April.
He was ousted in a military coup in November 2017, ending three decades in power.

Doctors In India Discover Boy With 526 Teeth

The boy suffers from a rare condition known as compound composite odontoma.

Seven-year-old Ravindranath woke up one morning last month with complaints of jaw pain, and was swiftly taken to hospital. There, according to CNN , doctors informed the boy that x-rays revealed he had a sac in his lower jaw containing 526 abnormal teeth- yes, 526 teeth. A team of doctors quickly came up with a plan to remove the sac. They began by emptying it out in order to confirm the number of teeth.

Dr. Prathiba Ramani, head of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, told CNN “There were a total of 526 teeth ranging from 0.1 millimeters (.004 inches) to 15 millimeters (0.6 inches). Even the smallest piece had a crown, root and enamel coat indicating it was a tooth.” Another surgeon working on the team explained their procedure saying, "Under general anesthesia, we drilled into the jaw from the top. We did not break the bone from the sides, meaning reconstruction surgery was not required. The sac was removed. You can think of it as a kind of balloon with small pieces inside."
Ravindranath apparently suffers from an extremely rare condition known as compound composite odontoma. As for a cause, Ramani believes it is either genetic or due to an environmental factor such as radiation. Three days after the surgery, Ravindranath was released and is expected to make a full recovery.

Argentina captain Lionel Messi has been banned from international football for three months after
claiming the Copa America was "corrupt" .

Barcelona forward Messi, 32, was sent off in Argentina's 2-1 third-place play-off win over Chile and later said the "cup was fixed for Brazil".
He has also been fined $50,000 (£41,121) by Conmebol, the South American Football Confederation.
Messi has seven days to appeal Conmebol's decision to suspend him.
The ban means Messi will miss Argentina's upcoming friendlies against Chile, Mexico and Germany in September and October.
Argentina's qualifying campaign for the 2022 World Cup begins in March 2020.
Following Argentina's 2-0 semi-final defeat by hosts Brazil, the Argentine Football Association complained about "serious and gross refereeing errors".
In response, Conmebol said accusations questioning the integrity of the Copa America were "unfounded" and "represent a lack of respect".
Messi was shown a red card in the 37th minute against Chile, following a clash with Gary Medel, who was also dismissed.
"We don't have to be part of this corruption," Messi said. "They have showed us a lack of respect throughout this tournament.
"Sadly, the corruption, the referees, they don't allow people to enjoy football, they ruined it a bit."

R. Kelly won’t be getting out of jail anytime soon. Despite asking the judge to be released on bail, the disgraced singer was denied his request Friday. He was arraigned in Brooklyn Federal Court for racketeering and s*xual abuse charges. He’s accused of exploiting five victims, including three minors. Those are just two of several related charges that Kelly is facing this year. But unlike in the past, he won’t be released on bail.
Kelly didn’t make a statement in the courtroom, other than confirming with the judge that he understood what he was being charged for. Prosecutors argued that he would be a flight risk if released.

A$AP Rocky Released From Swedish Prison, Allowed To Leave Country

The prosecution is seeking to convict A$AP Rocky to six to ten months in prison.
A$AP Rocky has been released from Swedish custody, according to Swedish publication SvD and other sources. The rapper was charged earlier last month with assault after he was caught beating someone up on camera which he's argued was self-defense. The rapper will have to return to court on August 14th where the judge will deliver their verdict on whether A$AP Rocky will be found guilty or not of the assault. The rapper, along with two of his friends who were also charged, will reportedly not have to remain in Sweden until the judge delivers the final verdict.
A$AP Rocky and the two co-defendants appeared in court earlier today. The prosecution urged the judge to sentence Rocky and the co-defendants to six to ten months behind bars for the alleged assault. The prosecution gave their final argument today, suggesting that the alleged assault was done on purpose. However, Rocky's team continued to tell the court that it was actually done out of self-defense.

R. Kelly is in custody after being arrested in Chicago on s*x trafficking charges, according to reports in the US.
There are said to be 13 charges against the singer, including child abuse images and obstruction of justice, according to the US Attorney's Office in Chicago.
The 52-year-old was arrested by NYPD and Homeland Security officials.
He's already pleaded not guilty to more than 20 s*xual offences.
For two decades R. Kelly, real name Robert Kelly, has been accused of different s*xual abuse allegations.
They've been brought back into the spotlight following the documentary series Surviving R. Kelly , which detailed stories about him pursuing teenage girls going right back to the start of his career.
The R&B artist was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal s*xual abuse in February. He pleaded not guilty and has been released on bail.
Then in May he was charged with 11 more s*xual offences , relating to s*xual assault and abuse of a minor aged between 13 and 16, which he pleaded not guilty to last month.
It is not yet known whether the new federal charges are linked to the same cases.
A person can be charged with a federal crime if they've broken laws in more than one state. The charges are generally more severe than state charges.
R. Kelly has stood trial on s*xual offences once, being acquitted of child po*******hy charges by a jury in 2008.

Liverpool erased the disappointment of last season's Champions League final loss by claiming the trophy for the sixth time with victory over Tottenham in Madrid.
It was Mohamed Salah, such a disconsolate figure when he was injured early in that loss to Real Madrid, who set Liverpool on their way with a penalty after two minutes when Moussa Sissoko was contentiously punished for handball.
In a final that rarely touched the heights of the blockbuster semi-finals that made this an all-Premier League showpiece, Spurs had chances but were denied by Liverpool keeper Alisson, who saved well from Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Christian Eriksen.
And their failure to capitalise was ruthlessly punished when substitute Divock Origi ensured manager Jurgen Klopp won his first trophy as Liverpool manager by driving low and powerfully past Hugo Lloris with three minutes left.

Former Arsenal winger Jose Antonio Reyes has died in a car accident aged 35, Spanish club Sevilla have announced.
"We couldn't be confirming worse news," the La Liga club said on Twitter.
The Spaniard joined the Gunners from the La Liga side in January 2004 and was part of the 'Invincibles' side that went through the 2003-04 season unbeaten, winning the Premier League.
He later spent a season on loan at Real Madrid in 2006-07, winning La Liga.
The La Liga club paid tribute to the "eternal legend", adding he was "one of the most valuable home grown players in the history of the club".
Reyes leaves behind his wife Noelia Lopez, who he married in June 2017, and three children, daughters Noelia and Triana and son Jose Antonio Jr from a previous relationship.
Henry leads tributes to 'exceptional human' Reyes
Arsenal paid tribute to their former player, saying they are "devastated by the shocking news".
Gunners legend Thierry Henry, who played alongside Reyes between 2004-2007, called him a "wonderful player, superb team-mate and exceptional human being".
"I wish his family and friends continued strength and courage to get through this difficult time. ", he added on Twitter.
Former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas called Reyes his "first great friend in the world of professional football", and added: "My room-mate, who always wanted to sleep with the air conditioning even at -10 degrees.
"A humble guy who always had a smile on his face, great footballer and great person. I could not wake up today in a worse way.
"I will never forget when you and your family welcomed me at your home in my first Christmas in England when I was alone and was 16 years old. I will never forget our tennis football matches in the gym before and after workouts.
"Our connection in the field was also special.

I'll never forget your magic and your smile, Jose, never. It was an honour to be by your side... A strong hug and all the spirit of the world to family, friends and clubs to which he represented. RIP Friend."
Former Atletico Madrid team-mate Sergio Aguero said: "Moved by the death of José Antonio Reyes, a very good friend and partner with whom I shared great moments. A lot of pain. My condolences and all my support to your relatives".
His current club Extremadura said in a statement
on Twitter: "With a broken heart Extremadura UD announce the death of their player Jose Antonio Reyes in a traffic accident."
Reyes' final match was a 1-0 win at Alcorcon on 18 May. The Spanish second division side's away game to Cadiz, which was due to take place on Sunday, has been postponed until Tuesday, along with the league's other fixtures that were due to take place that day.
