Congratulations Stone Tower Winery! We absolutely love it here! First off.... Leesburg, VA! HELLO this is genius. I work in the Northern VA/DC area a lot for wedding hair & makeup and this venue allows me to exhale. It's off the beaten path quality is the best of both worlds, which makes it a perfect location. It's so pretty and the wine is quite nice too! Hat's off to Stone Tower Winery and congratulations again on being one of Virginia's Top Wedding Venues. I had the opportunity to visit this beautiful venue over the Fall. It's absolutely breathtaking. Upon entering the main gate, I headed up to a quaint little log cabin (built in 1870 btw) to setup for hair & makeup. I couldn't help but notice the beautiful scenery as I was headed uphill. Congratulations to The Historic Post Office! I love love love the updated renovations. The bridal suite was spacious and the decor was so elegant. We even had the perfect space to setup for hair & makeup. Although it had a few modern touches throughout the entire building, the amazing vintage vibe is still strong! Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Noah's Event Venue in Chesapeake. It was the Grand Opening celebration hosted by Savy Events. I had the opportunity to meet several brides to be and some awesome wedding/event vendors. This event space is a must see if you're considering having your ceremony and reception under the same roof. They have truly set a high standard. I'm loving the quaint ceremony space! Definitely a must see! Hats off to Shamira Vargas owner of Savy Events and shout out to Kamaal Rollins, The Prince of Cakes did an outstanding job providing the amazing cake and cupcakes!!!

The beautiful Tides Inn in Irvington, VA! This spiritual oasis will always hold a special place in my heart. It's calm waters and natural scenery is what makes it so special. Many of us may take the beauties Mother Nature for granted, but the Tides Inn has managed to hold on to its sacred and priceless treasure.

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of working at the beautiful Grace Estate Winery in Crozet, VA. This awesome venue is near Charlottesville and shares company with dozens of other wineries. However when I asked my bride what made her and her groom select this venue, she said they visited several but hands down Grace Estate offered the total package. It's a combination of beauty and one of the most cost effective wineries in comparison to it's competitors. After approximately 6 hours of pumping out wedding day hair & makeup, I decided to stroll down to visit the tasting room. I was treated to a complimentary wine tasting and employee discount on my purchase. I was even surprisingly entertained by the very talented Matt Johnson of Staunton VA. Grace Estate is absolutely on our list of Top Wedding Venues of VA.

One of my newest favorite places! Beautiful New Kent Winery in New Kent, VA. I stopped by on my way home from a wedding in downtown a Richmond. It's beautiful and they were setting up for a wedding that day! I was even asked if I was there to do hair and makeup! (I was still wearing my name tag lol..) I took time for a tasting and had some lunch. It's a must see really so add this venue to your list of the top wedding venues of VA.

The Founders Inn and Spa in Virginia Beach! OMG, I love this place. I'm there 2-3 times a year for wedding makeup/hair and it never gets olds. It's no wonder I decided to host my first semi annual Wine, Dine and Dance there this November. As soon as I walk in, it feels like I stepped back into time. It's like a cross between a historic museum and mansion. Every time I'm there for a wedding, there seem to be multiple weddings going on that weekend. It's perfect if you're planning a small indoors wedding or larger outdoors wedding. Either way you can't go wrong. Not to mention the countless areas here for those perfect photos. Every step you take is a Kodak moment!

What can I say about the Williamsburg Winery? Let's start by saying this quaint little step back into history is amazing!!!!! I absolutely love the character of this Williamsburg, VA venue. So many intricate details. I was taken on a special tour by Sales Managers Kelly and Courtney. They shared all the wonderful spaces for weddings and other special events. They also shared the newest edition, that will be completed in January 2017. You'll be excited to see what they have in store. They're adding additional event space, an exquisite bridal suite and more!

I finished the afternoon with a wine tasting from the exclusive reserve collection, which is AMAZING! Congrats to the Williamsburg Winery, you rock!

Well this little hidden treasure located in Fredericksburg, VA took me by surprise. I was there on location doing hair/makeup and had no idea this place had so much character. From the outside, you see what appears to be an ordinary strip mall but take a peek inside. It's one of the most vintage B&Bs I've ever seen. Welcome to The Inn at the Olde Silk Mill!

For all of you that love a fun spirited dinner cruise, Spirit of Norfolk is for you. Located in Norfolk Va, you will experience, great food, good music, and an amazing view. This wedding venue offers some of the best all inclusive packages I've seen. It makes Spirit of Norfolk the perfect one stop shop. This is a must see and definitely one of my favorite picks for Virginia's top wedding venues.

My friends, family and clients all know I am a huge fan of wineries. The fact that I also do insider looks into top wedding venues is a bonus. Wineries have become one of the most popular places to get married. I guess you can say my visit to Saude Creek winery today was just another day on the job! Located in Lanexa, VA, I had the pleasure of enjoying their premium wine tasting, which consisted of 11 amazing wines. I took home 6 great bottles, signature bag and wine glass. I was also able to capture a couple of selfies and video. If you are interested in having an event at this beautiful spiritual oasis then Angie is the lady to talk to. I'm even considering having future events here :)

Hats off to the Potomac Point Winery of Stafford VA! By far one of my favorite visits this year. This beautiful tucked away find was just what I needed after a busy work day of wedding hair & makeup. I absolutely loved the serenity. I participated in a wine tasting with 12 amazing wines followed by some of the best crab cake sliders. There was a bridal party there having so much fun, it sparked my curiosity. It led me to research this enchanting winery, and you guessed it, I was in the midst of one of Virginia's Top Wedding Venues :)
