American Pit Bull Examiner Rescuing, writing about, photographing and everything American pit bull Cindy Marabito has been rescuing animals her whole life.

She began rescuing pit bulls nearly 20 years ago, but the pit bulls, in truth, rescued Cindy. Through these misunderstood and fascinating dogs, Cindy found her life's passion and devotes every minute to all things pit bull. The director of Reunion Rescue and Animals First Rescue, Cindy has also authored the book, Pit Bull Nation and is presently working on the next book, The Animal Alliance. She a

uthors a blog, Pit Bulls and Other Animals and writes the National Examiner column, American Pit Bull. Cindy lives in a wildlife sanctuary on the Colorado river with her cats, dogs and birds with her husband, Scott, the Texas Steve Irwin.
