It is with the utmost excitement that I make this next announcement.

Like every other major corporation TOTAL PUNK knows the future is in the stars. While others are wasting huge sums of money and natural resources on rockets, TOTAL PUNK’s team of crackpot scientists have discovered the quickest way to reach the outer limits of our galaxy and no vehicle is required. We call this technology HUMAN EYE, and this May we will be unveiling it at the CORPORATE RETREAT. Prepare to be transported from the stylish interior of to the dark deep cosmos in a single measure. It’s time to for another TOTAL PUNK CORPORATE RETREAT announcement, and we’re sticking to the international theme.
We were lucky enough to procure the talents of the kings of commerce, Canada’s number one export… THEEE RETAIL SIMPS. Not only will they be providing entertainment at the Happy Hour Wind Down, but they’ll also be leading a round table discussion on ethics in marketing. The Simps usually charge top dollar for their speaking engagements, but lucky for you this once in a lifetime opportunity is included with the price of admission. Time for the first big announcement.
TOTAL PUNK’s greatest area of economic growth over the last few years has been Australia and we would be remiss to not have our Australian division represented at next year’s CORPORATE RETREAT. Thankfully our latest acquisition have agreed to make the big trip. They’ll be venturing up the US west coast next May and finishing things up at the Swan Dive in Portland, OR. On top of performing they’ll also be administering daily tick, lice, and bozo checks after our morning nature walks.

Look for their debut album on TOTAL PUNK this February, and make sure to go see them live on tour. Hit me up if you want them to come to your town.

This May TOTAL PUNK will be holding our CORPORATE RETREAT. The line up has yet to be announced but many are already calling it the “Davos of summer.” This is guaranteed to be a meeting of the most elite movers and shakers in the world of corporate punk. We can’t yet announce the line up but we can announce the venue. One would expect a meeting of this caliber to be held in Mark Zuckerberg’s apocalypse proof bunker or an equally glamorous site like the Fair-Haired Dumbbell, but TOTAL PUNK, always one to buck convention, has chosen the understated charm of Portland, OR’s Swan Dive for this year’s venue. The list of talent and speakers will begin to drop this week, and tickets will go on sale soon after. Hope to see you all this May.

With the release of the JUDGES LP the year is officially over for TOTAL PUNK. It was a whirlwind and I actually had to check discogs to see how many releases I put out this year and then had to cross check against my Instagram to make sure it was correct. At the conclusion of my investigation turns out I put 6 LPs out on TOTAL PUNK this year, as well as two more on . On top of that we managed to do three represses of both and and a second press of both RETAIL SIMPS LP. Been a wild and crazy year and thanks so much for all your support. We already have the first two releases of next year at the plant and two more nearing the completion of mixing and mastering. We’ve got a bunch of surprises in the works for next year so stay tuned. Not sure how many more years TOTAL PUNK has left in the tank but we’re going hard in 24.

THE JUDGES- Judgement Day LPs have landed. The mayhem of stuffing has begun. I’ll be getting out and the band copies then will start on preorders. Been sick the last few days (AGAIN!!!!). Preschool is a killer! And… still waiting on a new label printer so I’ll be a little slower than usual getting orders out but I’m working on it.

I’ve long awaited an official reissue of both Plugz album. Last year we got a boot of the first and when I ordered these I assumed they would also be boots. When I opened the box today and saw the hype sticker attached to the cover I got excited for a moment and thought oh man maybe these are official. Those hopes were quickly dashed once I hit Survival Research’s discogs page.

Two of my favorite punk things are punk comps and fake punk so I’m always excited for a fake punk comp. This is almost that. It’s all punk from Television and Movies so we get ‘I Dig Pain’ from Chips, ‘I Hate The Bloody Queen’ from SCTV, ‘I Hate You’ from Star Trek IV, the Mayhem songs from Quincy. Where this comp falls short is including Fear’s entire set from SNL, and Ramones singing ‘Happy Birthday’ on The Simpsons. WTF?!?! Anyways still worth purchasing. I’M GONNA GOB ON YOU CUZ I HATE YOUR GUTS!!!! Up on the site now

AHOY! I changed shipping software last week. The change was a little messy so some of you might have gotten shipping notifications for orders that were four or five years old. My apologies but all is fixed now. Also when making the change I forgot to allow shipping notifications for new shipments so all of your orders that I shipped over the last three days went out without notifications. If you want tracking please email me. Now that we have all my dumb mistakes out of the way onto the good news! Shipping for international orders up to 4lbs should now be much cheaper. A 2lb package to Canada will now be $3 cheaper and a 2lb package to the rest of the world $7 cheaper. This goes for both the site and bandcamp. Head over to the site and see for yourself

Tonight’s the night! CURLEYS learned some new flexes just for this show, EVIL TREE has practice today at 1:30 at Raigarten and takes their final form tonight is taking us to the outer limits! However it is with a lump in my throat that I must announce that has dumped us. Jake heard Henry Rollins will be playing the part of the SNOOPER puppet tonight and didn’t want to miss it. Thankfully EGG PUNK LADIES NIGHT has stepped in to take their place. It’s gonna be a huffing good time!

Was gonna dub the Cherry Cheeks tapes today but figured out I accidentally bought tapes 1 minute too short. DOH! Had to order more tapes so the release of the cassette version will be delayed a few weeks. Was already in the basement so decided to make a mixtape of songs off my favorite punk singles from 2004-2012. The stuff that inspired Total Punk. Getting to see THEEE SIMPS five times in the last four days has been a blast. Theee Simps absolutely killed it each and every night, and had so much fun riding around them, eating too much greasy food, sleeping like sardines on hard floors, and cracking jokes. I SIMP FOR THE SIMPS!

I quit my job New Years Eve of 2019/2020. Sold my van a few days into 2020 and made plans to move to Portland that May. 2020 was gonna be my year. I had a long list of last I was going to do before I moved, starting with the last Golden Pelicans tour. Long story short we landed in Australia on March 13 2020 (the day Tom Hanks got Covid… in Australia). We played one show in Melbourne, one in Sydney then had to high tail it back to Melbourne to get out of the country while we still could. We left big boxes of merch behind and all jumped on whatever flights we could find. Wasn’t exactly the way I wanted to end the band but I don’t think most people spent 2020 the way they had planned it out. Three years later I finally recovered some of that merch and just put it up on the site. The Archaeas, Quintron, and Disciples of Blood are all long out of print. I’m not sure about Grinding For Gruel, but if you need any of these I’ve got em while supplies last. Thanks to Rich Stanley for getting these back to me. Full disclosure some of the Pelicans covers got dinged corners.
