"Eat, drink, and be merry!" We all know that saying because nothing makes us happier than eating good foo, drinking good drinks, and spending time with good company! The Sa' Vaun Seven Community wanted to take that concept and take it to another level. The Sa' Vaun Seven Community wants

to present to the World a new venture called A Seat @ The Table". This venture will focus on bringing the people together through intriguing one on one dialogue on subjects such as, what will it take for us to survive in AmeriKKKa, what does it mean to love and where has it gone in today's world, what does it mean to be a change agent and what are we doing to live up to that title, and much more! A Seat @ The Table will include weekly podcasts where you will here from yours truly, The Wong Host, as well as, featured guests that I will have on to feed the MIND and the SOUL. Inviting 6 lucky people to the table to "eat, drink, and be merry"! The dinner will be provided by yours truly, as well as, a variety of small business entrepreneurs. So we are looking for any small, up-and-coming chefs, caterers, bakers, etc to help us nourish the BODY. We will also be looking for a variety of other small businesses or vendors that would like to donate free samples to be credited on the show, during the dinner, and given out as care packages for the guests. The Sa' Vaun Seven Community's main goal for creating A Seat @ The Table is to encourage, enlighten, and empower the community through food not only for the body but for the SOUL. Bridging the gaps of intolerance and misunderstanding with dialogue, food, and fellowship! Building an empire within and empire- one that we can call our own; one in which we can feel safe to be vulnerable and share with one another! MASKS ARE REQUIRED. SANITIZER WILL BE AVAILABLE.

Do you know any families and children that need work spaces for their homes? Please email The Learning Hour Group and send them the full name, address, telephone number, and let them know that they can come and pick up desks Friday, December 18 at 6:30 PM. If they are unable to pick up the workspace please provide a date and time that will be most accommodating to them.

The Learning Hour Group’s Workspace 4 Children Campaign has received a very generous donation that allowed us to purchase 33 more desks for our fundraiser. Shoutout to Summy Healthlink Corporation for their generous donation!

Now all we need are volunteers! Come and help us assemble these workspaces for our D.C. students so that they can continue to have a productive and safe space to get their education.

If you know any families that need desks and desk chairs for their home please email the group with:
- full name
- address
- phone number
- email if available
- how many desks are needed
- and if they are or are not able to pick up their desk(s)

We will be allowing pick up on our assembly day, as well as, during the week between the hours of 10:00am and 3:00pm.
