Back to school is in full swing and Splendora ISD in Splendora, Texas had their New Teacher Induction to welcome new educators to their staff for the 2024-2025 school year. Also helping welcome were Greater EMC Chamber, Next Level Urgent Care, Splendora ISD Education Foundation, Jacqueline Canada, Broker Associate SMP CSMS MRP CPRES, and Urgent Doc.

Splendora ISD welcomed new teachers for the 2024-2025 school year and the Greater EMC Chamber was on hand to help along with many others.

It was new teacher orientation day for New Caney ISD, the largest employer in East Montgomery County, Texas. Vendors welcomed and thanked the new teachers with goodies and gifts including Greater EMC Chamber, H-E-B, The Highlands Texas by Caldwell Communities, Community Resource Credit Union, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Elite Hospital Kingwood, and Planet Beach.

The Greater EMC Chamber helped welcome new teachers to New Caney ISD, the largest employer in East Montgomery County with goodie bags donated by members while promoting their directory of local resources.

The spirit of aloha with a tropical summer vibe was alive and well at the Greater EMC Chamber's quarterly Leading Ladies Luncheon in July. Attendees were welcomed with a tropical cocktail or mocktail and passed appetizers from G&G's Catering And Desserts while they networked and enjoyed a fun whisk-me-away photo booth provided by Dynamic Entertainment. The Greater EMC Chamber held their Celebrate America Luncheon presented by HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood at The Atrium Center in New Caney on July 3rd. As they made their way in, members and guests were welcomed by a celebratory drumline from Splendora ISD's Splendora High School and handed an American flag. Shiva Baradaran of Texas Senator Brandon Creighton's office led the United States and Texas pledges followed by Avery Culberth of Splendora High School who beautifully sang the national anthem. A blessing was provided by Jay Davis of Porter VFW post 4816 and the luncheon's Featured Caterer was Texas Roadhouse of Kingwood who passed pork slider appetizers and provided a BBQ ribs and chicken lunch. CenterPrize Sponsor Accurate Home Services gave a travel cooler backpack to one lucky winner at each of the twenty tables. The Greater EMC Chamber's June Luncheon presented by Kingwood I.T. was well attended for a summer month. Members and guests celebrated business by welcoming new members and 24 new graduates of their Pathway to Leadership program. Guest speaker Kimberly DiStefano of Oracle HR Consulting Group spoke on the importance and value of emotional intelligence in leadership roles. February kicked off the Greater EMC Chamber's monthly luncheon series with nearly 200 vibrant and engaged attendees held at The Atrium Center in New Caney, Texas. The luncheon's presenting sponsor was The Highlands Texas by Caldwell Communities who spoke about their beautiful master-planned community in Porter, Texas, and its many amenities. One lucky winner at each of the 20 tables won a Mardi Gras-themed CenterPrize sponsored by Zulees Executive Gifts. A Time To Celebrate is the theme for the Greater EMC Chamber's annual meeting luncheon. Presented by HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, Chief Operating Officer Joel North shared the hospital's expansive growth with a glimpse into its future. The event attracted Santa Claus and even the Grinch couldn't stay away. Songs of the season were sung by New Caney ISD Porter High School Spartan Carolers to entertain the well-attended event. One lucky winner at each table received a beautiful centerpiece thanks to CenterPrize Sponsor Humble Area Assistance Ministries which were donated by Flowers of Kingwood. Kelley Mattlage of the East Montgomery County Improvement District shared a Christmas Wish List that perfectly described the upcoming A Holiday To Remember event being held at Valley Ranch Town Center. The compliments continue for the events Featured Caterer Saltgrass Steak House of New Caney, Texas. Their menu included ⁣Watermelon Caprese Salad & ⁣Chicken and Shrimp Embrochette as passed appetizers.
