Hey guys! Today I dropped Part 2 of the Brittney Woods missing person case.
I think about this case a lot. I feel so sorry for Brittney. Her life was not easy before she vanished. She had a drug problem and no stability in her life-which all probably stemmed from the traumatic abuse her and her other relatives experienced from a young age at the hands of people who should have protected them and not hurt them.
I find it very difficult to believe her Uncle Donnie did a murder-su***de in hopes to end the investigation into the child p**o ring. There were too many lose ends besides Britney. I think the only person who truly know what happened is Wendy and she clearly has nothing to gain by talking. Her hillbilly A$$ thought she was smarter and could get out of the pending segg charges by killing her husband & Brittney & deleting some text messages. Her crimes against children were so heinous she received a 219 year sentence. Even if she gave a confession and Brittney was recovered Wendy would never see the outside of a prison. With nothing to gain I don't think she'll talk.
My thoughts go out to Brittney's friends and family who mourn her loss.

STORY TIME SLAYER PODCAST is re-presenting the Todd Mullis Corn Rake Killer case. This is an episode I covered in my very first season. I have always believed this case would be the next staircase murder. With new evidence pointing to Todd being innocent I was asked to re-cover the case. As soon as I heard Judith’s story about the circumstances surrounding HOW she found Ken dead I knew she was guilty of SOMETHING.
Judith called 9-1-1 at 9pm reporting she’d found Ken dead in his bed with a gunshot wound.
Ok, that’s not the weird part. It’s the circumstances surrounding why Judith was at Ken’s house that didn’t make sense to me. All jokes aside, no one shows up unannounced with JUST a rotisserie chicken for dinner AT 9PM? That’s got to be the worst cover story & like I am with every case. I am so glad Judith got caught. Snapped covered this story and portrayed Judith as a victim of battered women’s syndrome. I would love to know how you feel about that and your other thoughts about this case?!

I was obsessed with this case and thought it would be a fun refresher for anyone else who was obsessed & if you've never heard of it BUCKLE UP.
When Denver Nugget basketball star Chris Anderson sparked up an entanglement with a young woman named Paris it was really fun. Paris was over the moon to be getting the attention of a pro athlete-this was something she'd been trying to do! They even spent a weekend together. What they didnt know though was they were both being catfished! How can two people who actually MET IN PERSON be catfished?! GREAT QUESTION.
Criminal web sleuth & master manipulator Shelly Chartier created a fake account for both Birdman & Paris. She then used multiple fake internet phone numbers to be an elaborate go-between for this wild scheme.
But what's the big deal right? Chris and Paris seemed happy to have met.
Well, Paris was...A MINOR. Something Chris Anderson had no way of knowing. Shelly manipulated, blackmailed and pinned Chris & Paris against each other for money. Tune in to hear the whole thing anywhere you enjoy your favorite podcast!

Faith was a victim of domestic violence. DV is not cut & dry. It can be emotionally draining and confusing for victims. Faith saw signs something wasn't right with Greg and left him on 3 different occasions. However, things kept happening- making it difficult and emotionally confusing. Faith became pregnant by him 2x and he used his charming side to lure her back in the 3rd time she left.
It wasn't until Faith woke up in the hospital after surviving a heinous attack at the hands of Greg & witnessing the m**der of her two eldest children did Faith find out Greg also ki!!ed the 2 young children they shared together. That wasn't all though. Faith learned this was the second time Greg had done this. In 1991 he had st@bb3d & ki!!3d his then pregnant wife Tonya Green.

Hey guys, part ll of ST: DIRTY JOHN drops today. I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on the case. I hope Betty's remains can be recovered to bring her family more closure and peace. Although they were unable to get the answers they sought for Betty, the work Betty's family did in looking for her played a great role in bringing down John Smith and solving the murder of Janice Hartman.

Betty Fran Gladden Smith got caught in a whirlwind relationship with John Smith that quickly turned rocky and confusing before she disappeared in 1991 while recovering from a broken hip. Betty's families relentless search for answers uncovers a lot of things about John Smith including a double life & missing ex-wife.
Although the body of Betty Fran Gladden has yet to be recovered, her missing person case did ultimately bring justice to Janice Hartman's family and result in John Smith being exposed as the malicious man he was, as well as a prison conviction.

I had a difficult time finding photos from with the Ryan & Airika story.
But for now...here is a photo of the 2 when they were arrested & the home they shared with Ryan's mother Cindy & step-father Tony. (& shared with the deceased bodies for DAYS).
I truly thought Ryan and Airika would be a super good looking when I first heard about this story. (LOL idk why...I just did 🤷‍♀️)

What struck me as odd about this couple is they made no attempt to conceal the crime. Not even for their own mental health. They didn't clean up the mess from the murders or distance themselves form the corpses! Too weird!

Story Time Slayer podcast presents the story of Dr. Glennon Engleman a dentist that had a 30 year long criminal career as a hitman that no one was suspicious of FOR YEARS! That's probably because he didn't take random assignments...he manipulated (typically already single) women to find men for these contract killings. They’d find men to marry that had good benefits and then split insurance policies after Glen murdered them.

This case is so much more than that though! Seemingly innocent dentist and upstanding guy kept this double life for DECADES
