The NUIG White Collar Fight Night is on this Thursday from 6pm in the Bailey Allen Hall. We're just waiting on one last piece of tech and we'll be live streaming it again this year, so keep an eye out on this page for further details!

Tickets are only €7.50 for students and are available from the Socs Box, SU Office and Candyland. It's all for a great cause so come down and enjoy the fight! (Oh, our Head of PR, Darren Meehan, is fighting in it, so cheer him on!).

STV are heading to Dublin with FlirtFM and SIN for the National Media Conference! This conference is Ireland's only student run national media forum and encompasses a series of debates and discussions on the current state and future prospects of all forms of Irish media.

Tickets are available from the Socs Box for €18, however if there's 8 or more tickets sold, everyone will be refunded by €3! Tickets include the return bus to Dublin, entry to the conference and lunch.

Welcome to the official website of the 2013 National Media Conference in partnership with The Irish Times and in association with the Broadcasting Association of Ireland. The event will take place on Saturday, November 16th in Trinity College Dublin.

July 1st marks the end of our first year as a society, and what a year it has been! We had a rocky beginning, some ups and downs, but we got through it with only a few scrapes.
The success that we have had would not have been possible without the support of Ríona and the staff of the Socs Box, and I'm so thankful for that.
Personally, as auditor, I'm delighted that we managed to achieve live streaming, though it, and everything else we did, couldn't have done without the help of the team who made up STV this year - Conor, Saoirse, Feithín, Kieran, Marése, Cormac, Oisín and everyone else who helped us out along the way, thank you so much.

Kieran, the keys are with you now!
