Emerson Fields is a venue designed with light in mind; a perfectly illuminated blank canvas with a beautiful Instagram to show for it. When the owners gave us free reign in designing their editorial we were both elated and slightly intimidated. We wanted to create a shoot that expanded on their vision in a way both beneficial to their brand and unique to the space. With a venue so versatile the options were endless.

After hours (and I truly mean hours) of thinking it over and discussing ideas we settled on Deco Modern. While we can't show you the champagne fountain or flaming absinthe or beautiful transition from day to dark; we can show you these little sneak peeks, and invite you to check out our full publication to launch this summer. 🍾🍾🍾

We've been a fan of Ellipsis Design long before SBJKC was even in the works. Andrah's detailed calligraphy on handmade papers conveys an elegance and intimacy that is unmatched. For her editorial we wanted to convey how custom stationary can set the stage for the air of a couple's entire wedding day, as well as, serve as a timeless keepsake for guests.

I think one of the most important aspects of trusting someone with your business is finding a company that really listens and cares about your brand vision. SBJKC deeply cares about it's clientele and the way we represent you in our publication. We want our editorials to convey who YOU are as a company/service/individual, and in turn attract the couples that speak to that vision.

Gathered and Rooted​ wanted something nostalgic yet playfully modern, informal yet elegant, and organic/earthy without being too rustic. We brought her vision to life today in the most authentic means possible, but not without the help from a fabulous team of collaborators. We absolutely cannot wait to show you the final shots from this dream of a shoot!
