KL Walker News: Don Don Donki has opened its first outlet in Malaysia at Lot 10 Bukit Bintang. The store has officially launched on 19th March. Thousands of people flocked to the store and caused Lot 10 crowded.

The movement control order ( MCO ) placed on Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor and Penang will be switched to conditional MCO ( CMCO ) for 14 days beginning March 5 till 18, announces Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

They are famous for Mala hotpot as they have secret recipes for their soup bases and are all prepared without additives!

We are back!!

Movement Control Order (MCO) in March has caused many businesses to stop their dine-in operations. KL Walker has no choice but to cease visiting any exciting places for more than 6 months. Finally we now resume business and will continually to bring you more exciting and unique places for your pleasure!

Reminder:

The National Security Council (MKN) has listed 14 places that you should take note of.

- Mosques and suraus
- Houses of worship
- Social gatherings
- Public transportation
- Zoos
- School buses/school vans
- Sports and recreation – mandatory while in the premises/venue/public place when not doing sports activities
- Clinics and hospitals
- Public markets
- Cinemas and live events
- Retail and service shops (Stores, laundry shops, restaurants, shopping complexes, supermarkets, workshops, gas stations)
- Hair salon and beauty salons
- Spa, beauty and reflexology centres
- Family entertainment centres

Failure to do so may result in a fine of up to RM1,000.

To enter many facilities, your temperature will be taken, and they will record your personal contact details.

The government of Malaysia has gazetted 11 activities as prohibited beginning 10th of June in line with the Prime Minister’s announcement on the recovery movement control order (MCO).

The prohibited activities are:

1) The organising of sports events and tournaments, as well as sports events and tournaments;

2) Contact sports;

3) Water theme park and water park activities;

4) Swimming pool activities (other than swimming pool activities in a swimming pool in a private residence and in a swimming pool for private use )

5) Outbound tour activities by a citizen and inbound tour activities involving foreign tourists entering Malaysia;

6) Activities in karaoke centres, children’s playgrounds in shopping malls, and family entertainment centres;

7) Activities in pubs and nightclubs, with the exception of restaurant businesses in pubs and nightclubs;

8)The fitting of clothes, using fitting rooms in clothes stores, trying on fashion accessories in stores, and providing cosmetics testers in stores;

9) Reflexology and massage activities in health and beauty establishments;

10) Cruise ship activities;

11) Any activities with many people in attendance at one place making it difficult to carry out social distancing and to comply with the directions of the Health director-general.

It takes effect from 10th June until 31st August.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said all food and beverage outlets can now open for dine-ins provided they strictly follow conditions set by the authorities under the conditional MCO from May 4. For restaurants and eateries to open for dine-ins, social distancing, social distancing, registration of customer contacts and face masks for workers will be the new norms for dine-ins under the conditional movement control order (MCO).

The PM said there must be scanning of body temperature, tables must be distanced, outlets must register contact details of customers and restaurants must decide how to socially distance customers while dining in.

Any travel to buy food, daily necessities, medicine or dietary supplements has been restricted to 10km from a person's residence during the second phase of the movement control order from April 1 to 14,2020.

These are among the regulations listed under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (Measures within Infected Local Areas) (No. 2) Regulations 2020, which will take effect from April 1 to 14,2020.

Additionally, it states that an individual travelling is not allowed to be accompanied by another person unless reasonably necessary.

It added that if a person needs to move from one place to another due "to a special and particular reason", that person shall obtain prior written permission of the police officer in charge at the nearest police station nearest to his or her residence.
