Today Thursday 13th July 2023 will be historic day for the people of Tana North Sub County.

After 63 years of Independence and with over 5 different members of parliament for Bura Constituency, for the first time Hon Yakub Adow opened the office of Civil Registration Office Tana North ( Birth and Death Certificate office).

This was a crucial service for the people of Tana North as they used to travel from Mbalambala to Hola for birth certificate service but today that service is here in their Constituency Kurdos Hon Yakub Adow Hapa kazi Tu.

He was also accompanied by Lafey Mp Hon Mohamed Abdikher, W.rep Tana River County Hon Amina Dika, Senator Tana River County Danson Mungatana


The office was Officially opened by the Principal Secretary State Department for Immigration and Civil Services AMB Julius K. Bitok, MBS in the Presence of Hon Yakub Adow Bura MP.

With the Help of the PS Hon Yakub Adow Issued over 1000 IDs that we're blocked in Nairobi from the People of Tana River if you were vetted from 2007 up to 2023 and you never got your ID please visit your Area Chief to collect your ID

Madaraka day is significant in our history it was on this day 1st June 1963 our founding Father of the nation replaced the colonial government and the flag of Kenya was raised for the first time.

There is much to be done to Move Bura constituency into the next face of Development to achieve the shared aspirations of the Bura Constituency successive administration calls for nation unity.

Earlier today Hon Yakub Adow Bura Mp brought a one-on-one dialogue between Bura Resident and KPLC officials Coast Region manager his counterpart Hola Manager.

Bura Resident aired their grievances to KPLC where they complained on the sudden blackouts without any notice that results to losses.

On the other hand, K PLC accepted the faults and promised to work on the possible remedies ASAP.

Thursday 25th may Yakub Adow Bura Mp and W.rep Tana River County together with the DCC Tana North.

Visited the gravity project that has been under construction for the last 10 years.
The gravity project once complete is believed to be the game changer for Bura Irrigation. Engineers, NIA officials and Contractor promised the long awaited gravity will be completed December 2023.

Yakub Adow is doing a lot to revive Bura Irrigation Scheme and promised to push it in the National Assembly. He also added that President Ruto set aside 300M on the Supplementary Budget to complete the Gravity Project.
