Anyone know the owner of a VW Polo reg MJ68 RRV? Just after 7am I witnessed it get smashed into by a pair of absolute idiots. They reversed up the footpath next to Hindley train station (still don’t know how they managed it), knocked their own wing mirror off on a bollard, crashed into the Polo then drove off brazen as anything. A schoolboy was trying to walk down the path at the time too. I thought motorbikes using the path was bad enough but this is stupidity at its finest. I probably need to inform Network Rail so that they can stop it happening again too!

What looked to be 2 Ford Fiesta's a Blue one driving on the wrong side of the road onto coming traffic and a White fiesta driving on the pavement near the old Cheshire motor company car sales just before the bridge at around 6pm and then again in Ince just past KFC heading to Wigan at 6.12pm both on the wrong side almost causing a head on collision both at speed going over the canal bridge on the blind bend. Does anyone have footage available?
