PolyFonal is an archival label out of Toronto dedicated to the odd, avant and outro, forever genre-less and free. Brought to you by the folks at Field Hymns.

Want your business to be the top-listed Media Company?
You may not recognize the name but let us introduce ourselves: PolyFonal is a new offshoot of the slumbering Field Hymns and an archival label geared towards the the odd, the avant and the outro. And for the time being all our releases will be digital and free. More on that in a bit.
These profoundly weird times have upended every facet of daily life (personal, social, commercial et al) and no one knows when things are going to come back down to land. PolyFonal has been on the back burner now for years waiting not only for funding but maybe also a purpose (also a move to Canada really flipped the books). The conversation always revolved around getting back to the roots of Field Hymns, a rogue catchall basket of weirdo music, seeking gems that had slipped through the cracks, and being as genre-less and free as possible. And since we don't know what the future holds, or even if there will be a future, money should not stop us from fulfilling that purpose. So until we can't do it anymore, or we run out of music to share, all our releases will be free. We will provide links for the artist's Bandcamp as a method for not only finding other work, but also maybe buying music in support. A link to a tip jar with benefits, if you will. Nothing for us please: this is just a labor of love. If you do want to "pay what you will", all proceeds will go towards buying more download codes, as we only get so many free downloads to give away music per month. It’s odd that it costs money to give things away but such is our world sometimes.
If that sounds interesting at all in the least bit, we are going to try and release an album every month or two and would love for you to hear and share them.
Take care, be safe, and talk soon.
