The Student Press is a youth-run and centered open publication that aims to give a voice to the next generation of writers, leaders, and innovators. Published articles focus on a range of personal experiences, current events, cultural phenomena, and perspectives on today's world from its youth. The Student Press was founded by Zak Vescera and Marcus Shannon, who believe that today's online and pub

lished media lacks adequate representation from youth. For all the mainstream press' fascination with "Millennials", they are seldom given a pen nor airtime. The Student Press is thus open to any writers willing to contribute their thoughts, as a testament to the fact that youth-- and their politics-- should be heard today and not tomorrow.
