We're not crying, you're crying... 🥹

We are a little bit choked up at this recent article on BBC News. A lady in Wales, having bought a vintage camera from a charity shop, discovered it had an undeveloped film inside it... and the photos she had developed are so touching 💛

📷 Sarah, the photographer, is desperately hoping that someone may recognise themselves or a loved one in the photos... we'd love to help her, so do share far and wide! 📣

Isn't it extraordinary that something as simple looking as an old camera can hold such family treasures inside? We really hope the photos are reunited with their owner(s)... 🎞

An £8 charity shop purchase has kick-started a quest to reunite vintage snaps with their subjects.

What a difference a DECADE makes! 🤩💍

Today, my husband Patrick and I celebrate our ten year wedding anniversary! 🎉

In some ways, it feels like it was just yesterday that we tied the knot at Morden Park House in the sunshine...and in others, it feels like a lifetime ago...

In the ten years since we became Mr and Mrs, we’ve bought our first flat, then house, had countless adventures and not one, not two, but three children! 🏠

I feel so grateful for Patrick and our life together. He has always been my greatest champion and he’s been so supportive of me setting up Memory Lane Audio. Who knows, maybe over dinner tonight I’ll persuade him to finally record ’the story of us’ with me for our children…🎙️💛

To anyone else out there celebrating an anniversary this month, congratulations! You know where to come if you’re after a gift that’s as lasting as the love you’ve found.

To the woman who inspired me to start Memory Lane Audio ✨

Here are some pictures of my Nanny Christine that I’d love to share with you. It’s worth noting that she hated having her photo taken, but she’d make an exception if it was with one of her treasured great-grandchildren! She loved babies 🥹

A working mum of two (at a time when that was very much frowned-upon), Christine was a pretty remarkable woman.

So this , it seemed only right that we pay tribute to ‘our reason why’…💫

🤔 Can you remember the first single you ever bought?

🎶 I'll confess: mine was "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" by PJ and Duncan (better known now, of course, as Ant and Dec)... and it wasn't on vinyl... it was on a cassette tape I bought at Woolworth's on Surbiton High Street. 🎧

👧🏻 I must have been about nine. I had a Walkman (which I LOVED), and some very flimsy headphones, but listening over and over to the music tape that I'd bought with my pocket money was probably one of the proudest moments of my childhood...! 🙌🏼

✨ It's amazing how evocative songs can be – how they can transport you back to a specific time or place, and how they can revive how you felt when you first fell in love with it. 💛
