In 2016, i announced for the Ihra and got a chance visit many tracks I’ve never been to before. Here’s a link to the world finals in Memphis, TN. Racers travelled from all over the US including Alaska. Enjoy! (Please watch all 7+ hrs for a valid critique 😃)

We can pack the place. We can make up for the BS weather we had ALL of June. We want to be here for years to come, for generations to come.

Maybe you don’t (or didn’t) appreciate the little track in northwest NJ until this week. Maybe you were one of the few that didn’t believe a 30 year old woman could resurrect a “dead” racetrack. How about now?

We operate this track because we love this sport. We are racers too, or at least we were. Its been 12 years since we raced a points day, but you know, maybe someday.

We also do it to put food in our kids bellies. It’s not an easy business to live on, but we’ve been doing it for 10 years now. Sure if I had a few million dollars in side businesses we could pour concrete and asphalt all day.

The truth is, we are a middle class family, operating a grassroots drag strip for 63 freaking years. We can survive but we need you to show up.

Beautiful day at island dragway, got to 3rd rd in super et. Our new home track was welcoming and excited. They definitely started off on the right foot with their customers by having a consolation race and buy backs. Saw a lot of racers that I haven’t seen in awhile; James young, john hedenburg, joe focarino, Brian Mullaney, Steve bell and others. Props to Kevin Render who did a great job announcing. Thanks for the people who help and supported me; larry moody, Elio Mannino, Myers family, Brian ward.

6/17/23 atco. Let’s go for a ride. Good look at the procedure from start up to shut down. Lots going on, most importantly, awesomeness! 0-60 in slightly over 1 second, my Racepak tells me a little over two g’s in first gear. Would you have the gall to mat the gas, hear 5700rpm and dump the clutch???

6/17/23 atco dragway top sportsman. Had the advantage on the tree in rd 1 but I missed my dial in by too much and left an opening for my competition to walk through. Everyone’s tough, every round is tough sledding. Still always a great day at the race track. Thanks to Alex Martineau, Bob Martineau, and Brian Ward for performing flawless crew duties along with cooking and filming. (Mostly cooking for ward). Thank you endlessly for the support. There was even a dan caroselli sighting!! Images from the day.

6/7/23. Brought the car to North Plainfield high school this Wednesday ,amidst the smoke, to enrich the engineering students and others that showed an interest. I’ve worked in the North Plainfield school district for over 20 years, currently in the high school. Was great fielding questions and allowing them to sit in the drivers seat. Always remember when you’re at the track, it’s someone else’s first time there and first impressions last. Vid of when I fired it up, explaining the process. Pics to follow

Unfortunately got timed out in rd1 and dqed. In eliminations, once one driver is staged, there is a preset time you have to stage yourself. Being that I have a clutch car vs automatic, I have to set my brake pressure, before I begin rolling in to stage. I set it once and didn’t like where it was so I decided to set again which cost me an extra few seconds my internal clock disregarded. My fault. Mechanically everything’s great on the car. A Healthy car being put in the box is always a win. Thanks Brian ward, bob and Alex Martineau and of course, larry and Moody Senior and Junior. Next time out Father’s Day weekend at atco.
